Harvest & Curing Think Different 10 weeks old today

Strain harvest window is approx a week away, a week to two weeks, i'm going in coco and i am watching the crystals slowly change colour but I have a few questions

1) how long does it take approx to go from 1-5% amber to 40-50% amber? (or do i want to harvest at 20-30% and it will change as it dries?)

2) anything I should do different in last week in coco? i've been told not to stop using my AN flowering a+b or my terpinator, just lower the tds of the AN, do you guys agree? once again coco, so should I be adding calmag to the mix? the leaves are showing def. now but it's close to the end i dont know if it will effect the end results, taste etc?

3) would you go by the age and strain age or would you base decision on crystal and bud fattening?

Also when can I pull off the fan leaves? Im dying to pull them off and take pictures aha is it still too early? it'll be my xmas tree tomorrow if not aha

I'd base my decision on the condition of the leaves (how yellow they are) and the trichs.

theyre not really yellowing, well one is going bright green and the bud has a bit to come, obviously its gonna be the second one i harvest, the first is starting change colours in the leaves, yellow and purple etc, breaking down ends falling off etc, while the TD1 i call it is still a deep green with lots of white hairs

is there ever situations where you harves a plant with green leaves?!

I'm with Albert in that you should keep an eye on the trichs and the leaves. From what I understand, the trichs do continue to change after chop. For how long, I'm not sure. As far as how long it takes the trichs to go from barely amber to 40%-50%, I think it varies from plant to plant. I just got done with 2 TD grows back to back. My first one finished in 80 days, and stayed at about a 90 to 10 amber to cloudy ratio for a good while. My second finished in 92 days, and the change from barely any ambers to around 20% caught me off guard because it happened so fast.
