i sent an email to biobizz had same problem so had 3/4 others.was told in email get your water put in ur nutes check your ph if its between 6.5-7.5 your good to go.your run off will be between 6.2-6.6 the soil is where your ph becomes right, i copied most of the email and put it on a thread.https://www.autoflower.org/f34/possible-mg-ca-deficiencies-12491-3.html post 28 i think:peace: sj

Thanks a lot for that info, I read your post too. I have been using pH up/down for the duration of one of my grows and it has turned out not so bad so far (still 2 weeks to go) but there are issues with it. See below... looks fine but I have had some issues in the last couple weeks which might be attributed to the pH up/down slowly destroying the micro life.

The pH after putting nutes in is like 5.2 or 5.8, can't remember so how best to raise the pH with BioBizz? Just adding more water to bring that pH up as recommended before or what? What if it takes an extra 500ml-1ltr to achieve that, won't this mean too much water and diluted nutes?

Day 50 this was taken... fast bud #2

Would anyone say that using fishmix is better than grow/bloom/epsom or just easier to deal with? Also, does fishmix stink as I don't really need another strong odour in my house!

Beautiful plant. If your method isn't broke, don't fix it. There was an argument about PHing organic feeds in another thread that just left me with my head spinning. Unless you're PHing outside the range that your feed is supposed to be I don't see how it can hurt anything, but others disagree. Do what works for you man.

If you plan on doing a ScrOG definitely stick with your grow nutes until vertical growth stops. You really want to get your plant as big as possible to fill in the screen as best you can. You're going to keep it all level with the screen so hight won't be an issue. You'll need some kind of screen with at least a 2-4 inch opening. Bigger the better when you go to move things around it will make it easier to do so without snapping anything. You're already doing a great job with LST so you'll love ScrOG. When all your budsites are nice and even they all get the same amount of light and grow to about the same size. It's a great way to maximize the use of your light and yield. I kept the screen about 1 foot above the plants. I would get the screen on before they are around 15 days old because they begin to take off after that. Just LST them to grow sideways under the screen and keep moving the budsites around stretching them away from the plant in order to keep all the budsites pretty even height wize. Once they get into flower and start to look overgrown you'll have to keep tucking leaves under the screen and out of the way of developing, or smaller bud sites. That's pretty much all there is to it. Just another way of LST but you're using a screen to keep all the budsites nice and even.

Oh, and I would go with a larger container. You really want to get your plants big.

Thanks Taviddude!

Appreciate you answering my PM.

When you say you `kept the screen about 1 foot above the plants` I assume you mean a foot above the top of the pot and the screen never moves once in place? Or do you mean to let the plant grow for a couple weeks, then a foot above the top of the plant? My tent is only 1.2m tall so not that much room when you consider the cooltube and height of the pot.

I think he means 12" from the top of the pot the plant is in, or rather from the top of the soil. The idea is to have enough room under the screen for all the large fan leaves and branches, but to allow only the developing colas to poke through the screen and grow vertically.

Yeah, I meant a foot above the pot, and yes the screen never moves once in place. You can run your screen lower if you want, you'll just have to train your plants to stay low. It'll be a bit cramped in your tent, but ScrOG is good for short spaces like that.

I made my first movie today with pictures from my last grow. Check it out. I know it's choppy and the timing sucks but I did it at 8 am without any sleep the night before. Just wanted to make something.

If I can get one plant looking half as good then I'll be happy, I checked out the thread for that grow a while back and all I could/can say is... `RIDICULOUS`

Great information here for my next grow. I still would like to know if fishmix on its own is better than grow/bloom/epsom... also would AN Big Bud be of use and how about the guano I have.

Thanks guys!

Think Different - BioBizz Advice

Hi All,

I'm getting myself ready for my TD grow. I still need a good nute schedule with the following that I have on hand. I have bought Fish Mix and Root Juice as I see a lot of people using them. Can someone recommend what to use from the list below?

 • BioBizz Root Juice
 • BioBizz Fish Mix
 • BioBizz Grow
 • BioBizz Bloom
 • Advanced Nutrients Big Bud
 • Plageron Bat Guano
 • Meridian Organic (un-sulfured) Molasses
 • Epsom Salts

Thanks!
