Hey all. So this is my second ever grow. First one didn't turn out so well. It was an Afghan Kush Ryder, and the results were poor because it was plagued with problems that I had no clue about. The result is currently curing, but I think I'll be lucky to get much more than an eighth. Anyway, on to try #2....

I will be growing in a 4x2x5 tent with 3 gallon/10 litre hempy bucket under a 400 watt ceramic metal halide light. I will be using distilled water. Once I start adding nutrients the veg nutes will be this stuff MixiGrow that a friend gave me, which worked very well when my AKR was veging. During flowering I'll be using some stuff called SensiZym that I picked up last week.

3 Think Different seeds were germinated by placing them in rockwool cubes, then placing those cubes in a tupperware container. I then sprayed water all over the damn place, closed the lid and finally placing it under the CMH light. 100% germination was achieved after approximately 16 hours, and shortly after the cubes were placed into the hempy buckets. All 3 seedlings were poking their heads out. As soon as I could see them they already had their first true leaves. Unfortunately, I think I lost a seedling, as when I got up this morning it had gone brown, shriveled up, and has retreated into the perlite/vermiculite. The other two seem to be just fine, though.

Pics here are a little blurry. I think I might be holding the camera too close, but I just woke up so I'm not even going to try right now.

Question about the TD: being a more sativa-leaning person, if I try to finished these in 9 weeks rather than 11 I assume I'll get a more sativa effect, right? Would that have a significant effect on yield or (since I've heard TD is a big producer) will it really matter much with this strain? And if I do run it for 11 weeks will it just be typical sativa with a little stone mixed in? I ask because I REALLY like the cerebral, creative-type high and I haven't had anything like that in a while. Oh, and also any tips for this strain (or just in general) are more than welcome.

EDIT: Pics are day 2.

Day 11 now. During the first week one of them started showing some yellowing on the leaves. I adjusted to PH from 5.8 to 6.2 and it seems to be going away slowly. I also started adding nutes (1/4 strength) on day 7 and they seem to be doing just fine. I've also purchased a humidifier, which is now running in the tent.

The third Think Different was most definitely dead, so on day 7 I planted a Dinafem White Widow Auto. Same germination method as the TD. I actually started watering immediately with a very low dose of nutes (roughly 1/6 strength). It poked it's head out yesterday (day 10 for TD) and appears fine so far, but it's still pretty early so we'll see.

Day 28 for the two Think Different.

All three plants appear to be healthy from what I can tell. I was a little concerned about the temp (shifting around between 80 F and 98 F) and the humidity (ranging anywhere from 28% to 40%), but from what I can tell the plants appear to be healthy so I'm not worrying too much.

Serious question time: how are they doing so far? I've heard that having that upward curl on the leaves is fine, but confirmation would be nice. Also, is this good growth so far? Can anyone think of any advice in general that might improve anything?

Upward curl of the leaves is heat stress, Can you drop your temps some how? 98F is rough.
