New Grower Thinking Different Ganjageezas 1st auto grow

thanks mr gg, you've solved my problem for me / confirmed my suspicions. I've had no in or outtake, and the tent is in a cupboard. The issues I have been having look the same as yours, could be mistaken for light burn.

I was thinking the same as you, bah it doesn't get that hot here / we'd be so lucky, it'll be fine. Yeah its been hot enough recently, with the added effect of an insulating tent with CFL's warming it up. Best be ordering an exhaust fan soon then

I guess its probably something to do with the high heat and fairly arid air, means it has difficulty sucking water to the tips of leaves and top of the plant quickly enough, which explains why it effects the higher up leaves / tips first. Out of curiosity was she drinking a lot of water at the time?

Yeah she was drinking a fair bit, but TD is from all accounts quite a hungry girl so I just thought it normal.

I was gonna post some recent pics but she's not looking her best and doesn't want to be seen in public til she's had her hair cut, women what are they like huh

So, hottest day of the year yesterday and the poor girl just couldn't take the heat any longer, major crispage, so I put her out of her misery and chopped her early.

By the look of her trychs I'd say, if heat would permit, that she had another 15-20 days more budding on her, minimum, which is a damn shame, but the heat was killing her so I couldn't wait and with kids running around putting her somewhere else wasn't an option.

I left a few lower branches/buds to carry on a few more days, although with a haircut (well more like a skinhead), as they weren't as badly affected by the heat as the rest of her, hopefully the heat and haircut she's had will allow her to even carry on producing, I doubt she can handle that much shock this late in but I'll see.

By the looks of it, when dry, i reckon she's produced about 6oz shame that I've had to chop her early.

Damn heats killed my TD babies too grrr, so no autos for my next grow, just potted the free seeds I got from herbies and a few from a messed up grow that my sister had (Gotta watch out for those males), the free ones from herbies were Kerala x skunk and Afghan kush, the ones from my sis are cheese, blueberry and bubblegum but they are all photos though.

Hahaha. Heats killing em off as fast as you sew em!! This is a rough time of year. I'm impatient too though- hahaha I just popped a couple lr2- thinking- these may not make it right now- what are my most expendable seeds??

I know what you mean, these are all free seeds though so pretty expendable and not too fussed if they take or not as, especially with the one from my sis, I've got loads of free cheese, bubblegum and blueberry seeds to play with.
