Lighting thinking outloud

i have a 600 watt hps.... i am at the end of my second grow and things look great but i want to maximize my grow ...my goal to to have the perfect 5 or 6 plant grow setup no more... i also i don't plan to grow nothing but autos ... so iam thinking ...add more light ....more light is good and i do plan on one day having c02 once i learn to grow.......iam not even sure what hood,cool tube ,wing to use in the right application this whole grow i have just been doing what iam told and i believe thats work but i need to know more.... doing things and not understanding y iam doing it is not going to make me a good grower .....that make sense?...any who .....thats my thought.......:smokebuds:

lol more light is always awesome! iwent from a 400watt setup and switched to 1000 after less than a month. but the temps are alott of work compared to my 400 watter. i use an aircooled hood with 8inch inline and carbon filter with co2 to help the high temps i just cant keep my tent closed or the temps jump up. in my opininon id stay with the 600watter lol thats what im looking to switvh too but i also use a t5 to veg under. good luck with the grow im not sure if there wAs a quiestion but i like talking

yea i dont no what to do 1000 or 600........with the 1000 i'm thinking scents iam only growing autos i would have max penetration?!
