if you can see the young branches at node 1, i say yes, take the top out and start again with the lower.

Zoom in on your camera and have a good look first. Its often easier than a loupe

Hi ,this plant is not defective (until you see new parts growing), this type of chromosomal mutation causing “self topped” plant ;) ,and usually (in most cases) it will have two colas (photo included).Wait a little bit more.

Wait to top it needs leaves to build roots give it time.
Thanks for response. I topped it last night, wish I waited to read this. If she stunts I'm sure she will now, I'm yanking her out and dropping in her replacement. Next time I will hold off on toppin.

When they are young and stunted it doesn't affect yields as much you can leave it and when shoots come out lst opposite ways do the same with all side branches. Search ebay test bean i have a auto topped and lst thats almost 4'x4'x4. It was topped at 6th knode with first 2 knodes removed. Then lst sideways. Also done a side project of topped on 3rd knode. Took 3days and its growing fast now
