this thing wont flower

ok . so this is a white widow extreme from AMS out of the Netherlands . it was started in a dwc on jan 14th 2018 . i use general hydroponics grow cal mag and rapid root and ph kit . i run a 600 watt led grow light and set light distances using a lux meter . my humidity is steady at 55% with a temp at 75-80 . the other plant was started at same time and is in soil using the same set up .

my question is simple . why wont the hydro bloom . it has no preflower showing . its such a bush you cant see the stalk without moving foliage . the soil is budding nicely . 4 ft tall with loads of tops .


any ideas ?

In my experience, some of these breeders hide behind the extreme or xxl label. I've found that it usually means that the line isnt fully auto. 8 weeks in, both plants, if autos, should be a lot further along. Its notthing that you are doing incorrectly. Its the plant genetics. You can try flipping it to 12/12 to see if flowers. But if it hasn't flowered on its own aftet 8 weeks, its probably not going to.

I'm with Proph' here,... likely, this is either a throw-back pheno', and/or it's just half-baked auto genetics which are common as the cold these days! .... most all XL/XXL denotations are about size increases from selective breeding,... Sweet, Dinafem, Dutch Passion, and a few others carry more reliable genetics that are larger,.. DP in general is the size-queen makers for many of their strains!

Their was this member on another forum who had the same issue. Till his plants got 6 foot tall and came to find out his plant was a photo lol.

Throwback pheno as said.

It will conform eventually if you really mess with it, nutes, heavy training (like snap it in lots of places) 12/12 or a few days of no light

i switched and im going with nirvana seeds .
