Have some success from outdoor grow this year,moving indoors next.Total budget could be around $800,i know it can be done much cheaper.Only have soil experience,would prefer soil again.
Have done some research, pretty sure i want to use LED.Will be able to check plants multiple times a day.Have used Fox farm in the past and happy with results, but have never used anything else. 4ft 4 ft is desired size. Should i get a combo all in one unit ?

I rarely buy anything that comes bundled. I prefer piecing things together. I'm not meaning anything is wrong with a bundle, it's just my preference.
For lights, I suggest you check out the Autocob at www.cobshop.net, built by @BigSm0. Quality lights.
As far as Fox Farm, there are growers who feel their quality has slipped. It seems mostly regarding Ocean Forest. I used OF for years, then changed to their Coco Loco, so I can't comment on the quality of their current soils.

If you have other options i suggest stearing clear of the fox farms. Seems 2 out of 3 people who use it on this site end up in the infirmary needing help..myself included this year. There batches have been inconsistent. HLG has got some nice qbs and mars hydro has also just knocked on the top light dawgs door with there new products. I love my qb. However, i havent heard one complaint about the cobshops cobs. Just all gonna depend what fits in your budget. I do love my HLG and i plan on getting one more unless i talk myself into a couple autocobs.

Hear nothing but good reports concerning auto cob's, do you have to change bulbs, or does it Veg and Bloom ?

hmm...well, me dunno bout any o' the rest, but me do highly advize against ff soil, or at least the ocean forest they used to be all the rage, but their quality control has indeed gone to shit the past few yrz, and well, ya might as well go to ur nearest casino to buy dirt, cuz u'll have about as much chance of hittin the jackpot and btw, i may have already asked u this, lol, but are u in missouri mayhapz i am, so jus wonderin is all ppp

Most people use 3500k autocobs all the way througu with great results. Just remember the saying is one auto cob per plant.. but ive seen people use 5 in a 4x4 and get over a pound. But they run about 130 each. I think with ordering a few of them and afn discount might be 120 a peice for lights or so

So 4 plants in a 4 x 4 area, i need 4 3500 k autkobs? I prefer to purchase high quality lights,just not wanting to swap out bulbs.

Your part of the few i talk to that the batch is fine and i hope that the problem does get fixed because alot of people used to like their product but Its gonna depend on which batch it is. The real question do you got 5 weeks to risk to see about the ph swings and all that. And some people dont got too many other choices ..i myself didnt. I do like the fox farms nutrients but autos seem finicky with the tiger bloom. So i had to go soilless or stick with ff. So i went soilless and switched to bio bizz nutrients and now im switching to megacrop cuz how easy it is and its not only organic but its vegan.And i sure do love the promix. My plants wont argue with it either. One in a 3 gallon fabric and one in 2 gallon nursery. With just a 100 watt HLG light and a supplement blurple til i get my next light.I got

You wont have to swap bulbs. And 4 would work. 1 per plant is good. Im sure youll add more. Once you get extra cash youll end up adding more.
