up close shot of the damage. This could just be more mature damage from the elder thrips; just not sure.

D8-- no shit, that black crap was sap?? what a weird color,.. I've seen lots of weep-drops, usually a sugary sap, and dark red-amber,.. maybe when fully dry, the turn a deep shade like that,... good news in any case! ..... Spinosad does break down after several days, as does pyrethrum,.... if you're a good shot, you can spray carefully just the fans to reduce exposure to the buds,... thrips want no part of that,.. only bud worms seem to be able to eat the actual bud,... other bugs are just bio-contamination,... there's a method for washing bud, u-tube it,... Heavily Medicated waged an epic war on monster budding plants, and won, with fine product at the end,.. your situation is much much less severe!

Yeah I guess the black dots was sap. I have not seen anything new of it since that day. Yeah total good news.
I have taken up a few new tools with my fight against them Thrips in the flower room, the larva im attacking are getting smaller and smaller. I finally got another adult today as well. I have started to use Qtips with neem oil soaked and tonight I decided to try using a tooth pick! haha its sadistic but you know what the little "soft bodied" larva's cant survive being poked around by a tooth pick; that sharp point at the end is perfect for getting into the vein of the leaf. Thats the good news about flowering the thrips are sacred of the gluey resin. I think I am doing an good job at battle in the flowering tent.

The auto/veg room had a few signs last week and over the weekend;. But nothing more than one or two larva ive seen. The bigger GoldGlue I have not seen a thrip in days on her; the smaller one, I saw one, I did miss killing it, as it went under the leaf which is smacked around and have not seen it since. But holy they are DANK! Like smell level 10 for a little 5" plant. I cut a fan off to help unshade and took a whif; wow it was potent. There are a few poop signs on the clones; but they will be sprayed down here and I am keeping watch to kill anything I see. nice when they are only 5" tall. real easy to spot anything new or living.

well everyone I guess it is time for an update on this fight. @Waira @Heavily Medicated @namvet25

The SBS girls are on their final days of life! I cut the earlier finishing girl tonight. The flowers were covered in resin; and the smells are of tropical fruits, and a little sourness. The spinosad arrived safley from Ebay it took about 15days to arrive from payment. I quickly sprayed down my clones which were being attacked in the veg tent. The thrips quickly discovered that the clones were a no go place. And left them alone. Never have had to spray since. They have been found in my GoldGlues but very minor damage and I am good at killing on sight now. So I have become a predator of/for them now.
The flowering tent with the SBS damage was pretty well contained for the most part during flower; the use of the tooth picks and qtips were really great. I added some flowers that had been sprayed with spinosad for their turn flowering; I expect this helped wipe out any elder that attempted to move over and make a new colony. There has not really been any new signs of invasion on to the new flowering plants either. SO thanks for the help those weeks ago!

I figured you guys want some proof this battle is win-able and eye candy of my beautiful F2s; so some photos!
