What do you guys recon ?

What is the medium what kind off light how close what nutes are you using and have you used any yet also what is your growing expeirence so far?

hows your PH?

300w led about 32" away from top of plant

Soil that initially had a ph of 6.5 40%
Plagron mega worm initially had a ph of 6.5 10%
Perlite 50%

Growing experience this is my first organised one however do have a little knowledge

My ph reader is being a douche so not 100% ATM when tested soil and worm castings at first both were reading 6.5 but now my soil meter doesn't change when putting in so stays at around 7 but this is the same if I put into a cup of water and before my water was reading 6.4 so it's definitely bust

Also I put her from seed into peat pellet and then soon as cotyledon leafs were out she was under light probably bout 44" away from light and moved to pot when first true leafs were developing about 32" away

Also up until a few days ago where summer heat has stopped i had some heat issues going up near 90

Heat can cause twisting also high heat plus to wet of soil can cause root rot especially at this fragile age. Also do you have any 6000 to 6500 k cfls because at this age they dont need much light and can be overwhelmed very easy how often are you watering?

Germination method soaked in cup until sunk for 12 hours then put into peat pellet in propigation tray

Then when she sprouted I put into pot with see through cup over the top giving her a humidity dome for first day until true leafs were out

And have only watered a tiny bit when first put into pot

24 hours later

Thanks dudes!

At this age I am unconfident of what would cause this besides ph fluction or incorrect ph, As far as the twisting that could also be caused by this or the heat. I wish I had better answers then this I will see if I can get the attention of a soil /organic grower and send them your way. I am growing in coco and have very limited soil grow expeirence. Good karma sent your way :)

Yeah nytros, Clix is on the money. I gotta believe your ph meter is jacked bro. Normally with twisting like that you are looking at ph or over feeding issues. Since it appears you haven't fed anything and I don't know anything about the megaworm but I just did a search and it looks like that is perfectly fine for seedlings then feed shouldn't be a problem. Considering what you said earlier about your ph meter I would be willing to bet it is jacked. Normally with heat issues you won't see a twisting like that, they will curl upwards. As young as that one is, I would be tempted to hit it with some aerated tap water. IF your tap water is pretty decent. If not, go buy yourself a liter or two of spring water, which should be a perfect 7.0 and water her with that. You want to be ~ 6.8 but 7.0 is pretty damn close and considering we don't know if your meter is working properly the 7.0 will get you into a safe range.

Next, if your meter is capable of being calibrated. Do it. If not, I would suggest getting yourself another meter pretty quick. You are going to need it yesterday.

Hope that helps bro.

Cheers guys much appreciated!

Has anyone known of using more perlite than soil making the ph 7? I'm pretty sure it's buggered but anyhoo!

Got some new pics - new growth seems to be very light green or even slightly yellow what do you think?

Also she is an auto mazar about 6 days old
