Grow Mediums To Rhizo or not to Rhizo? That is the question!

Hi guys,

Wondering if anyone can recommend if using H&G Excelurator is going to be massively beneficial when I do my "Think Different" grow in my DWC?

Is it worth the money?
Are there any better options?

I'm in a 1x1x2m Mylar lined tent with a 600w Epistar LED.

Roots Excelurator is some great stuff. Definitely will be beneficial to your grow. Their are cheaper products, but Roots Excel is the best.

Canna's Rhizotonic is good enough . H&G is way too expensive for me.
Here are some white healthy roots before the transplant. Rhizotonic works

I've read that roots excelurator contains anaerobic bacteria that don't do that well in highly aerated solutions. They reccomend a circulating water pump instead. So with that in mind maybe it's not the best product available for DWC.

I am using aquashield and ZHO. And recently brewed a Bennie tea. My roots were happy, but slightly tan from GH micro. Used the tea, now i see lots of new white roots popping out.
Google: benneficial microbe tea dwc. There is a good thread about root health and using microbials in DWC.

Yes it's worth the money
Currently no there are no better options that I have tried
And it will be hugely beneficial to your grow if you can afford it I say go for it I just picked some up over a week ago and it's crazy how fast I see these roots growI g in dwc I have used , ZHO , rapid start , voodoo juice , great white and a few others and nothing has surprised me like the roots excellerator I won't grow with out it from now on

Made my decision and purchased the H&G Roots Excelurator.
The guy in the Hydro shop couldn't praise it enough! It's better value in the long run than Canna Rhizo - due to the amounts used.
0.3ml per 1L compared to Rhizo which is 4ml per 1L.

I gave my babies a 0.4 EC of canna rhyzo from day 0 because I grow with coco. They are 3 days old now and they look happy. The second leaves are growing biger every hour and the 3'rd are starting to grow also. Everything looks healthy dark green. I would conclude they love it.
