No. 1 is doing great!

No. 2 is not so great and is stunted for what reason I dont know...

Hey AFN I noticed slight browning of the very edges of both (if I remember correctly) plants leaves, pictures will be up tm.

More info:
Lights 50w black star ufo and a single cfl
Container 1.5-2 gallons
Soil organic mix of potting soil (no real nutes in soil)
Ventilation is on every 1.5 hours for 1/2 an hour
The plants have only been given ph'd water (i am going to add a bit of superthrive to the ph'd water in the next couple days)
Led is about 8 inches above container. Cfl is just a side light
Temps are 80 at highest with cfl running. Not much else I can think of let me know what else you guys want to know.

Hey Moons, possible heat stress from the lights? How close is the led? It should be at least 18"away Id say.... Hmm and you say the soil isn't hot? What is composed of? Maybe she's getting hungry?looking good and lush

. It is hard to tell that early, but if it isn't improper PH (Since you have been PH ing), it could be the beginning stages of magnesium deficiency.

It seems to also be affecting your smallest plant though, which is VERY uncommon for a plant that age, which makes me think the PH might be funny, or your humidity is very low.

If you are using a digital meter, it's possible that it isn't calibrated and maybe the PH isn't what you think?

8" seems very close as well, but since your unit is only 50w perhaps not.

I guess I never considered the led possibly too close, I will take the pot off the risers (that drops it 6 inches). I cant remember the soil brand, it was a local special local product from the landscape/ fine garden joint. I remember it contained peat moss, coco, tree bark (I tried to pick most of this out) and I added a lot of perlite, sorry this is the exact reason I started writing stuff down in a journal and started this thread, I need to remember what I do lol. The Npk of this soil was in the decimals, thats why I bought it, to start seeds and for fruit tree root stocks.
I think I am in need of a ph'd flush just for good measure. The humidity makes so much sense, the exhaust fan runs so much and the small space is hard to regulate. I calibrated my cheap yellow ph meter when I first got it then a week or so later recalibrated it and it was only .1 off.

So what I shall do is:
Flush (to be safe)
Lower the pot
Observe

Day 19
Good news!!!!!!!
Its a lady!
Day 18 for stunt

Leaves are still burnt on edges and now possibly curling upwards as well.
Ufo has been moved away from the plants more. I turned the cfl off temp now runs average 75*. If this doesnt go away I will flush with 3 gallons of water for a complete flush.

Ps- i also bring my ph down with apple cider vinegar would that have an adverse effect?

Hey Moons,
From what I can see from your pics, it appears that only that one lower leaf is burnt. My best guess, and this is only a guess mind you, that some nute solution got splashed on it. The rest of her looks quite healthy to me, again from what I can see from your pics. If it were mine, I would hold off on flushing her, as you only want to do that as a last resort.

Make sure it is white vinegar, and no it will not have an adverse effect. That is all I use to lower my PH level.
