Indoor Tobe’s testers

Hi @Trichome Jim
Plants looking nice bro , looks like a few days and they are ready to chop.
What's the smell ? Do you notice some complications in the grow , mutations, extrem hungry or something else?
@tobe - They still have a bit from what I can tell. The smell is a little piney with a dankness to it I wouldn’t say fruity and there isn’t any fuel/Diesel maybe an earthiness?

There haven’t really been any complications, they have grown well I found that a couple of the plants seemed to want a little something extra as they were a little pale when compared to the counterparts.

They didn’t like too much light, when they were under 24hs they would start to droop after a while even when I changed to a 19/5 schedule they would be showing me they had enough near the end of the day.

Overall they have been pretty easy growers not being too needy the couple plants that spotted up may have just been part of the phenotype.

Here we are around day 70ish , just starting to flush the a little. They are starting to have a stronger smell of diesel and evergreen now, quite resinous and very sticky.

They appear to be quite dense as well , I have been trying not to touch the buds at all thus far, they all appear to be close to the end, I am seeing some amber trichs on all of them with the taller ones showing less, these were also last to hit budset so it makes sense.

Here are some pics

Thank you @tobe , they have been very stress free to grow. I would be interested in the original OA breeding lineage.

I am old enough to have smoked some old AK many moons ago , from what I can tell it was an Orangebud x Ak x lowryder cross, is this correct?

How does the parental stock of the OA grow? These ones seem to have a fairly dense structure and be main cola dominant without any training. I usually top my plants but figured you would be able to gather more info from leaving them natural and have a few more numbers , I would have been limited to two plants had I topped.

Thank you for letting me grow these out I would be interested in trying them again were the chance to arise.

@Trichome Jim
The original lineage of Orange Assault is
(Orange Bud x Lowryder2) x AK-47 auto

They grow main steam dominant depend on the pot size and got citrus orange smell and taste but more oldskool leaning.

I never released the Orange Assault and only give seeds out to some testers and friends but more and more asking me to make fem seeds or release them all in reg.

I will let you know when I make a fresh batch of seeds my friend.

Have a nice day

@tobe This cross definitely has an old school feel. There is some funk to it but it’s hard to pin down exactly what it is, I would say it is a complex aroma not one dominant over the others.
Growth has been good, they have all been fed the same mix and have all been mostly ok with it, the solo cup ones could have used a bit more frequency with their fertigation but I think this was mainly due to the size of the pot not the strain it self.
Not sure what the gelato is contributing perhaps the frost, they are very sticky

Hi @Trichome Jim
The girls looking nice bro , thanks for testing my stuff. It would be interesting to hear if the smell is also present in the smoke. I wish you a good harvest and a nice day
