I'm a long time photo grower but this my first auto grow. I've introduced myself recently and am in the process of firing up a journal. Some how I missed this Organic section and am stoked for the info.

I have a question on Top Dressing. I would typically top dress now as my girls have just started to show sex over the last few days. My recipy consists of Compost,EWC, a little peat, bio char, kelp meal, fish bone meal, gypsum, neem cake, and some comfrey. My question is if this is needed for autos. My soil is designed to take photos the entire grow so I'm not worried about lack of nutrients I'm just used to giving a P and K and micro kick as well as an SST shot at this time. Already hit them with a 30 hr aact with added malted barly and kelp for the last 4 hrs and a shot of aloe and coconut to finish the concoction off.

So what's the view on topdressing in this manner for autos?

Thanks

a pic would be helpful but if they are green and reaching for the sky spinning up nicely you could add a small bit, but imho its not necessary just yet. if you have a specific bloom top coating you could use that instead, but an N based should be done once the stretching stops and then when it settles in it can use the reserves in the top coating and micro life(or use a life tea) to keep them maintained and simple foods. should do well then. but if its a stronger soil too like a photo mix,a life topping of a compost solely would be fine too if its a potent mix. hope that help man.

but if it s photo strength soil,it'll be fine throughout with a compost or life tea additive imo. but even then,it'll probably do okay as is if your mix is solid. sounds like it.
