I have their 3w models so I get less penetration than you will, but I leave mine level with no issues. That said I tend to train my plants to open them up so your mileage may vary.

2 400w marshydro or 3 for a 2x4' tent? Want it to blow my 600 w hps out of the water lol

3 would match your HPS watt for watt, but 2 should give you great results

I just harvested 6 ounces from a 2'8"x2'8"x6.5' tent running one 192 x 3 Marshydro Reflector that's a true 345 watt draw. Now I know the plant limit for that space, I expect I can hit 200-250 grams in that space with that light. I've decided though that Grams Per Square Foot is more meaningful. It tell you your total productivity for your size space, so my goal current goal is 1oz/sq.ft.

hey pops I ended up going with the Mars 2 1200 w. Just plugged her in tonight. Testing my environment and in the morning will get my soil prepared. 24 hours later I'll b dropping my beans and growing auto triangle kush with my new pretty light! lol and switched from fox farms to advanced nutrients. This will only b my second grow ever. Like starting over again lol.

Just a quick question as to the use of the "grow" and "bloom" switches on the Mars II. Is it just there for the power conscious grower? Should I only be using the desired switch for the stage of growth I'm in or leave em both on and just let her buck?
