Lighting TOPled The Manual.

Might I suggest moving this UV and now defoliation chat to a separate, more appropriate thread as we are wandering away from topled lights.
:peace:

Great start to the thread guys thanks,I'm hoping it will draw new members in.

One tip I can give you on resin production under lights with no UV is to buy some Advances Nutrients Bud Factor X,I know its expensive but it lasts forever as you only need to use it in the last 2 weeks of feed. It works by tricking the plant into thinking its under attack and the plant will produce more resin. UV increases strength by stressing the plant too.

Not for nothing but AN says about Bud Factor X:

Grower’s Tip:
Mix as directed and apply as a foliar spray just before lights go off. You want it to have plenty of time to sink in rather than be evaporated. Do NOT spray during periods of high humidity or when you are within 3 weeks of harvest.

Does anyone know when marshydro's new line of lights being released?

Do you have reason to believe that one (a new version) is imminent? (exists)
This is the first I'm hearing of the possibility but I don't have lines of communication
open with Sarah...

I read on another forum the represntative from Mars Hydro named Sara wrote the new "Sun Series" was still being tested and she would let them know when it was ready. I don't know any specifics.

That's all I need to hear! :)

You what this means, right? Reflector Series goes to "Older Models" status :) and
therefore on a lower price tier.

They have been touting them on their web site for a few months but no release date.

I was reading that post on 420 forums, it was from yesterday or today.
