so i see their finiky to transplant and see ppl using beer cups. Could you not use small mesh pots to start in the just plant the mesh basket would alow outward growth increasing bulk of the plant
You could but it's very important not to impede the growth of the tap root ... some of those net pots have a knot on the bottom that should be opened up prior to use ... I plant the seed in the pot that the plant will be growing in ... it works best for me ... from the moment my seed first shows a tap root it is in place and doing the job it was designed to do w/ as little interference as possible ...
transplant can be done but why? Just plant into its final home .If you must do transplants use 1gallon pots and transplant fast after about 2 or 3 weeks.
