New Grower Trapper's Scrimmage Grow (Semi-Micro)

Yeah, SSD2, at this point I'm certainly not worried about coming in under 1 oz. :) I'm not going to try and predict what the wet/dry weights will be but 70 bud sites producing at least an average of a gram per site (which, at this point, as an average, is realistic) I'm over 2 right now...with 3 and a half weeks to go. So not stressing...just trying to remain in the lane. :)

Whatever you get off her will be awesome! I did a few cfl grows and though the buds weren't real dense, the high was still there.. What I want to know is if you are going to switch your current led with the bigger one when it arrives!

Keep up the good work man, loving that purple!

LOL!!! You're in my head! Exactly what I have been contemplating for the last 10 minutes.

Here's what I've decided:

For the sake of the purity and linearity of the "experiment" and to truly know what I can accomplish with one 135W (90W actual) LED, I will not be changing a thing.
I'm very tempted to, at least, just swap out the 135W and hang the 180W...but I'm already at a good number for my first grow...not crucial to attempt to maximize.

I think that's a good choice, that way you can get a baseline for what's capable under your least ideal conditions and you'll know it's only going to get better from here!! If it's a bit late for the new light to make the difference you'd want then you wouldn't get an honest portrayal of its capability and might be disappointed.

...and if people refer to it in the future, there won't be any caveats or excuses....135W (90W actual) for the whole time...period.

Day 59 - New toy..."Currency Microscope/Jeweler's Loupe" with LED light and iPhone 4S attachment...

Nothing like examining your trichs on the computer screen instead of trying to stand still, hold your hand still and lean over peering at your plant in real time.

It was something like $5 on Amazon, problem is that it ships from Hong Kong or Singapore and takes nearly a month to get to the States.

That is really cool dude, do you know the magnification on it?

That explains why it seems to work so much better than my 30X loupe.
