Hey iv got a 70ish day old auto#1 that I think is ready for the chop she did everything she was supposed to reached about 40cm sexed at day 17 started packing on the pounds about day 49ish. Iv checked her resin heads and can't find any clear ones all milky and have been for a few day. Nearly all her wee hairs have either died and retracted and doesn't seem to be much growth anymore. Iv been using Bio-bizz Bloom and Top-max so have some pretty nice nugs and iv just been feeding her with plain bubbled tap water for about a week.

So here's the actual question I want a nice head high something nice and comfy, pain relief isn't important but never help hurts. So do I need to wait until her trichs start turning amber, as I also heard some autos don't turn amber but will still hold the same couch lock effect. Something to do with UV? Please help

Cheers muddy I get that unfortunitly she was never that leafy then had a wee magnesium deficiency so lost quite a few before I got the epsom salts. What kind of time scale is normal between trichs being cloudy to them turning amber?

I get few, if any amber trics on my auto plants. From my experience with photos, it's a gradual process and not unusual to still have some clear ones on parts of the plant, especially the lower buds, while the top ones are turning amber. If you're at 10 weeks, all trics are cloudy and you want more of a head high, I'd probably pick them soon.

Alrite cheers I mite do it at 4:20am on 4/20 just for funsies. I'll be posting a smoke report when theyv had a wee cure

just wondering if you want amber trichs and you see them amber on the outside of the buds but when you open up a bud and the inside ones are still clear should you wait till they get amber then harvest?

judge by what you can see without ripping buds apart.

Im gonna do a 50/50 cloudy/amber. The best of both highs. I do agree you should let it go a little while longer until you get more yellow in leaves so you can get full potential yield.
