is it a good idea to kinda trim,, thin out your plants my plant is very thick, lots of undergrowth also a few of the lower leaves are touching the soil was worrying about mold or unwanted fungus growth,, thanks everyone
Defoliation is definitely needed during veg cycle thin out the fan leaves so light can get further into canopy
See how i cleared lower branches n leaves to open up plant id alsoo start tyimg down ur plant to get best yields
Consider leaf tucking instead? Simply push the 2 shading fans below the merging branches so they branches get priority instead of the fan leaves. A small piece of wire can be used to aid the leaf in the direction you want it to go. I wouldnt worry about "wet spots" caused from touching leaves at this point.
