I have a question that I hope @RemoNutrients can answer. I am using the Remo basics (MagNifiCal, Micro, Grow & Bloom). Now as per the recommendations from the Remo chart I am giving all 4 at every feeding regardless of the age of the plants (that are now 3 weeks old and almost 6 inches tall). Now - conversely; in the pinned part of the grow journal forum - specifically the "Lifecycle of the Autoflower Cannabis" it states that you should not use flowering nutes until vertical growth is completed. My question is...should I continue to use Bloom as recommended by Remo or should I go by the pinned thread and stop using Bloom for a month or so?

Thanks for you answers in advance. :pighug:

@DJ High Sorry about the delay mate...

You don't need to combine the grow and bloom, simply use one or the other with Micro and Mag (Micro-Grow during veg, Micro-Bloom during flower). Grow has more of a Nitrogen focus, whereas Bloom's formula puts more emphasis on the phosphorus and potassium. Both contain essential macros, but when you're in flower, you need much less nitrogen, and this is why the line is formulated as such.

If you want a simplified formula, run 8ml/G Micro-Grow-Mag until you see the pistils (the white hairs) popping on the leaf junctions. This would indicate that you're around the end of your first week of flower. The majority of bud development starts around the 3rd week so if you miss out on the week 1 of the flower schedule, it's not going to make or break your plants. Switch to the Micro-Bloom-Mag (8-10ml/G) and continue this until week 6, which I would omit magnifical from the schedule to reduce the nitrogen further (for taste) as well as the magnesium (which affects the quality of the burn). Run the two bases until you decide you want to flush. Pick, pack, and fire it up!!

Hope that helps,

Joel

Thanks Joel. Both are about 25 days in and the smaller (LSD25) is showing pistils in the past few days but the bigger and bushier Hindu Kush is not. For now I will cut out the Bloom until I see vertical growth slow or stop then add the Bloom and cut out the grow. I was just a bit confused seeing that your feed chart lists the use of all four in veg cycle.

Ah shit that's my name too, but shhhhh dont tell nobody lol

@DJ High Where are you getting your feed chart from? Our current recommendation for veg is to use Micro-Grow-Mag-Velokelp. You'll definitely be getting more than enough macros if you're stacking the Grow and Bloom together but because everything contains chelated salts, you'll get what you need from only using one of the two....plus it's much less expensive for what you're getting. Velokelp, on the other hand, is our most expensive product, but if you factor in that you're getting the equivalent of 5 of our closest competitor's products in one jug, you're actually getting much more for less..

Hope that helps,

Joel

No nature’s candy during veg or is that added towards the end of veg. I thought I used it the whole time.

Sorry Joel..I was wrong and misread the leaflet that came with the nutes. As you stated; there is no mention of Bloom during veg...my bad...ARG...sorry bout that. I have stopped the use of Bloom and will hold off until vertical grow stops and buds begin to form. Thank you so much again for your patience...I get it now :)

@Mizzo81 you CAN use it in veg if you want, but the primary purpose for this product is for bud density and flavor. If you're using it in veg, neither of those are a consideration so really you would only be feeding the sugar component to microbials (if you're using them). We don't put it on our veg feed chart because it's not essential to that phase. You're certainly not going to harm your plants, but you're also not going to get much out of it.

Follow our recommended feed schedule (www.remonutrients.com/calculator) and it should give you the best results...

i thought i would chime in i have used remo for 3 grows now the online calculator is great but i generally run veg nutes till min about week 4 and i pull some great weight remo feed is the best ive used by far and like other feed charts that want you using more feed and some would say use half the dose for autos but using the chart at say the 8ml of each late on wont overfeed your plants with remo and you can push to 10ml but i would rather underfeed than over
