Try this it works well;.......
Hailea ACO-9720 Koi Air Pump http://www.koilogic.co.uk/store/go/category/304/310 and then add;

Rubber Air Diffusers Koi Logic 250mm long, and treat new water and res with this to bring down high temporary alkalinity, in water supply. Check your water supply has no "Flouride" added ?/

When you left water standing ph dropped; as o2 goes in it pushes off temporary alkalinity calcium carbonate. And raises Co2 in solution. Buffering it. This process is more effective with Strong micro bubble diffusion in new water and will homogenize res to temp to air temp faster. if small room with background cab temp keeping room warm, res temp is controlled by room temp etc. All way's, room temp will be around 2c more than res temp, control room temp = control of res temp. They are about 25" above the top of the plant.

EC dropped to 0.7 overnight. Thinking, as there are twins in that bundle of leaves means they will feed almost twice as fast..?

Fresh cauldron of chems today. left the tap water i have in a bucket for 48 hours, PH dropped from 9 to 8.2PH, am running tests to see if longer is better although i do not have another pump to keep it oxygenated so i do worry about it becoming stagnant .

Did not add the **Canna Boost** as there are no flowers showing as yet. Perhaps next week.. I am running low on Ritzatronic, mabie 2 more batches so i am going to try and use the batches i make last a little longer.

BC have a look at seymour buds new update today,.........on pg 23 of indoor forum.................he is mid to late stage flower and plants are SR high yield sativa. All the mid fans as usual show sativa defs in mid fans, where he is pushing ec in flower hard as you are in veg !!........StarRyder........looks a high yielder to.............already iced up like a birthday cake !!................SB recons the Sweet "Sativa Smell (Terpens of Sativa) is awesome" and very distinctive !!................BC av alook at SB's log >> AB...

Feeding like crazy! EC dropping rapid. Started a new nute mix raising the EC up to 1.5, PH 5.7.

Pics tomorrow, Have to say they have almost doubled in size in the last 3 days, starting to give out a lovely smell. Getting a carbon filter and extractor fan sorted to keep the neighbors happy.

Any suggestions?

Sorry for the lack of updates, my computer crashed and is un-fixable. My camera had also run out of battery and i cannot find the charger.

Apart from that all is good

About day 30 from seed, sex has been shown for around 4 days. 3 more days before i make the switch to flores nutes. Have been feeding like fack, set the EC to 1.6 with PH 5.8. Next day EC dropped to 1.0 PH rose to 6.1!

Will have photo's soon. Really happy with how they look at the moment, flower tops popping up all over the place.

Pictures from day 30ish

Something i have not mentioned about this grow is the fact that i have been growing in 10L buckets. The roots have filled this nicely so i have moved them into 20L buckets with a more powerful airpump and 2 airstones.

Here are the pics from the day my camera died, it is charging now so should get some more soon. I cant even get her out of the room anymore :S

They are looking really happy. I had to force them out of the room to change to the 20L bucket and can not believe how green they are, look so much different under LED! Almost grey. I love the new growth as it looks gold to start :drool:

isolation is a key in keeping res temp low. you can look at my post in ISERT NAME HERE dairy.
once i isolated my res, one small frozen bottle, 330 cc kept temp at 18-19c for 24 hours. with temp in the tent at 30-31c.

I was using a bucket of ice water and set my DWC bucket in, to help chill the nutes. Tried this with my 20L bucket and it got well and truly stuck so i had to cut it off. I am currently putting a frozen bottle of water in the res as it is the only option available to me at this point of the grow.

My carbon filter and extractor fan is set up

I started them off gently with a EC of 1.3 as a bigger bucket with more air to lessen the shock. 24 hours PH rose from 5.9 to 6.4 EC dropped to 1.0. New mix tomorrow, thinking around 1.5/6EC. . . .

I cannot find a way to get all the photos i took with my mobile on to this pc, would be no problem if my mac had not died. Took some last night with my charged camera lol. Enjoy

Right, one issue i am facing now is the fact i cannot get them out of the grow space and the roof is not high enough to do a bucket change. I was thinking of making a fresh bucket and just topping the res up with this,
BUT then i came across a seymour comment saying that you could make the res toxic as the plant takes what it needs from the feed and leaves what it does not want, so by topping up you are adding equal amounts of the elements so there will be a higher concentration of the nutrients the plant does not need. /If that made any sense/

So my dilemma is how to change the buckets over without actually moving the plant. I am going to take the light down and see if it is at all possible to do the transfer in the space. The main issue is how high i have to lift them to get the roots compleatly out. They are also getting pretty heavy and awkward to work with in general, i have sat with them for hours but they are taking up the whole room and i can hardly get in anymore (I do manage to squeeze in tho and have a nap sometimes)

You could try picking up a battery powered water pump from ebay and then using that to drain the buckets then refill. Disadvantage is that you cant clean the inside of the bucket so theres bound to be some residue leftover however I found that when my TDs in DWC became too cumbersome it was the best option for me and worked pretty well.
