I started her 2 weeks after one of the Northern Light x Big Buds failed to germinate. This Dinafem Haze auto flower did her thing with amazing speed, being the first harvested from this run of autoflowers bloomed under the Pro-Grow 260X LED grow light.

Great job with the grow endive. Looking mighty fine. Enjoy the coming weeks with her.
One love :bong:

Very pretty :) loving the colours , you should be very happy with those little girls :)

Oh indeed I am!

Really have to hand it to World of Seeds for the quality & stability of the Northern Light x Big Bud autos, both plants matched the breeders description to a T.

Dinafem's Haze Autoflower, for all its controversy is also a winner strain in my opinion. I wish I had more seeds on hand to see the phenotype consistency, but I'm sure I'll be getting some (of both) in the near future!

Thank you for the kind words!

Haze harvested...

More from last week's Haze Auto cut

The round bud clusters ranged from "bombucha marble" sized, to tennis ball sized bud nuggets all dense, dotted with purples and covered in trichomes.

I used Supernatural Brand "Quality Cure" prior to harvest. Very impressed with the results, as the large buds dried in a day and were in the jar in less than 36 hours from harvest. Most impressive perhaps is how smooth the fresh cut cannabis was already.

Just before going into the cure jar, there was another pleasant suprise...

 I was going to be content with 30g ±

Early med report:

Very mild taste, smooth & non-grassy with a hint of that unique aroma, sweet on the exhale.

Little to no "head effect", but the muscles relax and body tensions ease. It's kind of like Chinese Food as the effects are short lived and in an hour you may want more.

I'll follow up shortly, on this weekend's Northern Light x Big Bud auto harvest...

Many thanks to all for the input & advice!

So officially, the smallest plant, but fastest to harvest was the DinaFem Haze Autoflower. A unique & beautiful plant, I pegged her for about 30 grams at best. Fortunately I was a bit on the conservative side as the total dried & trimmed weight was over 42 grams.

Then the two Northern Light x Big Bud autos. Both plants were remarkably similar, showing the stability of the breeders efforts. The slight variations between the two though are worth noting.

  • Plant #1 had thinner looking colas and was just a bit more lanky than #2, with gnarly foxtails and lots of purple coloring on the leaves and trichomes. Plant #1 also had a bit more of the Northern Light sweetness in the aroma, where as #2 had more skunky notes.
  • Plant #2′s fat spear-tipped colas were something to behold. A slightly denser plant than her sibling, #2 kept packing on mass till the end (well they both did really). But #2 was also less finicky when it came to feedings, #1 took a bit of wrangling to keep her healthy.

Northern Light x Big Bud Auto - Plant #2

The next big surprise was how close 1 & 2 were in final weight. I thought #2 would be substantially heavier on the scales, but in the end it was little more than a 3-4 gram difference between the two.

Totals
DinaFem Haze Autoflower: 42 grams
Northern Light x Big Bud #1: 52 grams
Northern Light x Big Bud #2: 55 Grams

TOKE OUT

The PG-260X afterthought... Northern Light Autoflower

This may be the last week for the Northern Light Auto under the Pro-Grow 260X as the deep rich green in her leaves are giving way to paling & purpling. Calyxes are trichome coated and beginning to tinge lavender, though most pistils are orange, new white hairs are still prevalent.

I believe next week (later this week, really) will be week 11 from seed. I eat my words on the 2nd gen seeds taking longer to finish. I'll have to take a look at the trichomes under the microscope, as the color change of the trichomes is the indicator I use as to "when to harvest".

Not her best angle...

DSCN2985-NLAo.jpg

Just a week or two from harvest and she’s still packing on growth...

DSCN2982-NLAo.jpg

The lighting was able to get down far enough & produced densely budded side branches

DSCN2983-NLAo.jpg

The bottom buds on the lower branches are stacked with trichome coated calyxes.

At this point the scent is no longer "stealthy" as the sweet incense/sandal wood aromas are quite abundant when opening the tent.

I so wish I could get cuttings off this one... I've ordered photoperiod Northern Light seeds and hope to find a matching or similar phenotype.

I think I'm back...

There really isn’t too much I can say that the pics don’t already convey.
