Two or three colas too close to light and ran out of head room...super crop?

Ive super cropped for my first time this crop. Just did some this morning. Black jack herer was much more sativa then she let on in VEG. I'm 2 weeks almost sice proper pistils. So i'll have bent buds 4 sure. Bended buds sure. Awesome!
I love the look of supercropped buds. They finish like 1/4 moon shapes, triangles, and all sorts of interesting ways.

Looks like you have plenty o headroom there bud. (PUN Half intended ) what lights are you using?
Autocobs.

For most of the plant I have about 16" left but some of the stalks have been getting to 12" or even less, those are the ones I bent. If I get closer than about 15" then I start to get light burn symptoms.

Interesting . My tops ar less than 5 inches from my QBs and theyre fine thus far. My buds look like yours about 2 weeks. Id chalk that up to strain difference unless your temps are high or maybe its something else. But i know cobs are a lot more intense. Just supercrop em. im way too lazy 2 tie every branch. Or maybe just tie the main stem over. You should be fine either way. Ive seen fat buds get supercropped. Theyll be fine buddy nothing to worry about.

Yeah...I've never been able to get them closer than 15"...they start to bleach and wither away. The Autocobs put out a BUNCH of light for what they are but the temps are very mild.

Oh by the way if thats a sativa strain then youre surely looking at more than 3 or 4 weeks. Dont pick em early thats the#1 rookie mistake. You might not be a rookie, but that plant looks at least 6 weeks from ripeness. Each plant matures at its own pace.

I am a rookie :)
It's NL from CKS. It's 70% indica, 20% sativa, 10% ruderalis.

I was estimating 3 or 4 weeks...HOPEFULLY it won't go 6 more weeks, I'm going batty as it is!

Not really anything you can do about that except ( the light damage ) except try and grow the best plant you can and keep that space . Obviously theres no dimmer.

Im suprised it stretched like that. NL is gonna mature faster than a sativa but dont take the "schedule" for granted.

It is what it is dude. With experience comes knowledge. Im in the midst of a very new grow style myself and have hit some patchy spots too, but whether you learn the hard way or the other way, as long as you learn...
