Plant is Mephisto Double Grape, at 30 days in a waterfarm. Buds are just forming, but these just appeared on stems, and leaf stalks. I have seen about a dozen of these, so far, scattered randomly around the plant.
The wide angle shot shows the white spots on the leaf stalk, near the leaf. The closeup is at 60x mag through my microscope.
Help, help!
Thanks in advance.

Great pic! WTF is that? I don't know, but it doesn't belong there. Are there more? did you check for under leaves and in soil?

Thanks for the reply, that microscope pic took about 39 tries, and a whole lot of foul language. There are more of these on the plant. Maybe a dozen, so far, but nothing creeping or crawling that I can see. Plant is in a waterfarm, not soil. Not sure what to think, but I figured somebody might have seen this before..
Regards, Kyle

Never saw that before but could be insects so remove them or keep an eye on them and let me no what happens.

You can bet I'll keep eyes on these. I Googled all kinds of bug-egg pictures, but they don't really look like any of the pictures I have seen. That's my luck though, I never seem to get one of those clear, definitive problems, where I can look at a picture and say "That's it!". Always some kind of weird ass problem. Lol

:toke:-- excellent pics man! :d5: ......I think it's a globular trichome, given it's shape and location,.. there are 4 kinds of trichomes on cannabis: globular, capitate sessile, capitate stalked, and the pointy hair-like (non-glandular) cystoliths,...
....the stickiness and aroma you get from touching stems and leaves comes from the "headed' trichomes,.. cystoliths serve as mechanical protection and exude some other anti-vermin type compounds,....

That is an interesting possibility. I "thought" I caught a very bud-like smell from one of them, when I rubbed it between my fingers. This is supposed to be a legendary frost-maker of a strain, so maybe that is the case. Judging by other folks journals on this strain, day 30 for first few trichs would be about right.
Thanks for the info!
