Lighting University study says LED beats HPS hands down.

I cool a 8x10 room with a small airconditioner. Half the room is grow room. When I was using my 600 watt MH I used a widow fan all winter until it got into the 40's outside. By 50F the airconditioner couldn't keep up with the MH. It was 90F here today, the room never got above 75 now that I've got 2 LED grow lights. They consume a total of 360 watts and their heat output is maybe 20% of the MH light.

Agreed, if I had a 400 HPS which I think my Vipar 600 draws close to, I've have to vent it through the wall to the outdoors to keep the room even half comfortable temp wise...
