Ok so I joined AFN just after setting up my grow and reading thread after thread on here... Just looking for more experienced growers to inform me of any errors I may be making and share with AFN my plant (grown with collective knowledge from people on here) :)...

i bought a feminised Auto Wembley seed and germinated it using the paper towel and 2 plates method and within 16 hours I saw a tap root... After a further 8 hours I planted into a 7" pot containing compost, grit sand and a few bigger stones towards the bottom to aid with drainage (appears to be working well but will go with a more traditional grow medium next time)

After 2 days a shoot was poking through then after the first two leaves appeared I moved her onto the window sill as the shop I bought light from had supplier issues and my light wouldnt be here for 3 weeks...

The whole three weeks were a heatwave and she had constant light for 16/17 hours and grew 3 inches and had 2 sets of leaves incl first little set...

I then set up my light (250 watt HPS) in my grow cupboard along with fan hygrometer, thermometer, home made humidifier and have a constant temp of 80 degrees F. and RH of between 30% and 50% due to good ventilation

The very first watering I gave after moving her to a light I added a mixture of the flora pro series and have continued with a water water feed water water feed which tends to be required one every three days. The PH sits around 6.5...

I am now in day 36 and in early flowering stages expecting another 5 weeks before harvest...

Few pics below, she isnt as pretty as alot on here but I am happy and think she is pretty healthy..

Opinions and advice welcomed to first time grower :peace:

Dom

@dominas999 :slap: :five: for you brother! Impressed what you pulled off in three weeks at a window! great node spacing for using mother natures BEST LIGHT which is filtered through glass... Way way back in the day when I use to try my hand at growing with a small pot on a window sill didn't make it past two weeks before she was so tall and stretched out she couldn't stand up on her own and fell over and died. :gthumb: looking forward to your next grow which will be started off more proper!!! Any plans on what your going to run next?

Thanks Yoda :) looking at getting an Auto Cheese ( love the taste of cheese strains) or maybe a Mazar... I need to stick to one plant for the moment due to accomodation circumstances. But I want to Grow my knowledge before getting a Grow I cant handle...

Thanks again Yoda:grat:
