Hello everyone,

I started a couple threads a little while back about my first grow but no one has really followed them much. Anyways, this is my first grow which started off in a ice chest and all of my plants out grew this quickly so had to convert everything into a closet. I added a few 65 watt cfl's to add light. Im sure it could handle more but I have noticed light burn quick often so it should be sufficient for the time being. As far as watering I am doing it every 3-4 days, just a few cups a piece, and using m.g. ferts (I know, I know m.g. isn't the way to go but it works).

My closet consists of the Auto Pounder, Vision White Widow, Royal Bluematic, and Vertigo. Please take a look at the pics and let me know how they are looking. As I mentioned before, this is my first grow so I would like to know how they are looking (honestly). I have pruned all of the plants, mainly fan leaves and some lower branches on some plants, in order to allow more light penetration. So far, the auto pounder is about 65 cm in height, ww is around 55 cm, royal bluematic 30 cm, vertigo 25 cm. All of the buds seem to feel quite dense and are very crystally looking.

I am hoping to yield a decent amount knowing that these are only on week 7 and still hopefully have another 5 weeks to go. Let me know what you all think. Any comments or tips are greatly appreciated.

BTW the pic showing all plants in closet are as follows: back left corner- white widow, back center- auto pounder, back right- royal bluematic, frontleft 2 plants- KC36 reg plants, front center- lemon bagseed, front right- vertigo. Nice looking plants and grow area. :gthumb: I'm here for the ride.

Hello everyone. Just thought I would give an update about what I have done the past couple days and how the ladies are looking. So I noticed about 3 days ago that the top leaves are starting to yellow a bit and get what looks like burnt spots on some of them. Checked my ph of water and it was quite low 5.6. Put some baking soda in the water to bring it up, hoping that this may have been the issue. All I have is a few strips to test the water but I really need to get an pH test and ec check (electronic). I think the buds are filling in nicely with a hopeful harvest of the current budding plants around August 25th. Does anyone know about how much the plants will yield seeing their size??

^^^^ Me too.

What did you pull in the end? It'd be great to know what kind of yields you got.

Hey everyone just giving a quick update as I have been working non-stop and haven't been on the site in quite a while. Anyways for my first grow to date, I have sucessfully grown in the neighborhood of 6 autoflowers. Each produced a different amount of bud, and the buds tended to be quite airy but very crystally. White widow produced about 7/8 ounces, auto pounder was a little over an oz and half, bluematic 5/8 ounces, vertigo 1 1/4 ounces. Not too shabby for my first grow indoors ever with only miracle grow and cfl lights. Currently I am growing a Trans Siberian auto which should hopefully be harvested at the end of October. I have found that the 400 watt hps really makes a difference as with nutrients. Correcting these variables really shows through with the quality and taste of the bud. Still have the lemon bagseed which is a regular plant and a sour diesel feminised which are both about 4 1/2 ft tall still in veg stage. Going to throw them into flower as soon as the last auto is done. Really hoping to get a good yield off of the two plants. So far the trans siberian is getting much denser and crystal covered with tricomes. Definitely going to be a grade A smoke for sure. The white widow has been the most trippy bud to date with the vertigo giving narcotic effects. Auto pounder was a good blunt bud. Not super high in thc but very fruity and pleasurable to smoke.
