Well i will keep a close eye on her/him/it, so far only flowers.
You know i always find it odd that we call something of both sexes hermaphrodite. Hermaphroditus was a full male, all the tackle and danglies. He was the son of Hermes and Aphrodite and was bought up by Naiads on Mt Ida. Whilst in some woods ( hunting ?) he came upon the nymph Salmacis in a pool who was smitten by his good looks and tried to seduce him, he would not succumb. When he thought he was alone he bathed in the pool, Salmacis was waiting and leapt on him, she asked the gods to join them as one which they did so. With his parting breath Hermaphroditus cursed the pool, whoever bathed in it should share his fate. The "creature" then crawled into the lake. Much like the Frankenstein story the creature has no name.
