Other than the size, being that there are bit large can this be used in a jar for curing?

I have same brand - thermo pro - weather station from amazon
With three remote sensors that do both humidity and temp
So I use one of the sensors inside my drying box in the tent

Remote means I can just check the humidity readout at my desk
Sensors are about half size of main body

Ive had it about six months
Works well and didn’t cost very much

for curing jars
I buy lots of super cheap hygrometers from eBay ..ten at a time

You guys prolly know this but ..for anyone else
You can check if hygrometer is accurate with wet salt and a Jiffy bag
