Hey afn, I have some well a bunch of AN I want to use up. I have some coco grow and bloom and I dont use coco just 1 time. I heard the difference is added calmag for the coco, other wise the same. Can someone confirm or deny this? Can I use it in pro mix? I will email AN but I think they will tell me whatever makes them the most money lol. I trust you all here more than them nothing against AN great product. But the exist by making money from us. Dont want to waste it so like to use up. Thoughts...

Should be fine in pro mix.. If it were an amended soil like ocean Forrest or Roots organic, I'd probably have a different answer.. But since pro mix isn't really "soil".. That should be fine!

That's what I was thinking. I get confused with soilless and coco lol. Do you know if it has just extra calmag? If so, should I not use calmag? I use it normally because I use R/O water.

Thats one of the things that the coco nutes have is extra calcium.. I can't say whether you should or shouldn't use cal/mag. Your plants will tell you that! Depending on which brand of pro mix you are using, it could already include a calcium source, and more may not be needed.

Thanks for the info. I'm glad I can use it, like half a bottle of each (4 - 1L jugs) 1 or 2 grows at least 2 with the grow part. The less waste I have the better. Their stuff is great, but expensive too lol.
