Harvest & Curing Vacuum seal or no for storage?

I have been using this vacuum seal adapter for my wide mouth quart jars.

I use this if I'm going to be storing the jars for a while and when they stabilize in the low 60% rh range.

Is there any harm or any benefit to doing this? I just assumed it helps preserve the flowers.

I've been using this system for the last year and a half in 1L wide mouth mason jars.

Cracked the oldest one the other day and the buds were like the day they were sealed.

I prefer 58%, easier to grind/roll/bong...
