Vaporizer review: Titan 2 by Hebe

This is my fourth vaporizer and my 3rd portable. I also have a Vapor Blunt and an Iolite Original. I purchased it on Ebay for $36.99. Retail is around $69.00.
the dimensions are 1"x1"x5.5" The Titan 2 is light in weight and is reasonably stealthy it almost fits in my hand( 7" with the extended mouth piece.) The Titan 2 is light in weight and is reasonably stealthy it almost fits in my hand. It is battery powered. It comes with a USB charging cable, 2 extended tips, several screens, and a cleaning brush. The owners manual is very brief but concise enough to understand.

The chamber is below the mouthpiece and holds about .5 grams, a good bit more than either of my other portables.
the chamber is stainless steel, as is the insert in the mouth piece. The mouth piece snaps off, you tilt it up or down until it breaks free. Its quite secure this way, yet still easy to remove.

There are 3 buttons. The first is power on/off. to turn on the unit you press the button 5 times. Now the vaporizer is on but not ready to vape. to be full active, once you've set the desired temperature, you hold down the power button for 3 seconds. The next 2 buttons adjust the temperature for vaping. its adjustable from 200F to 428F. You can reset the LCD to read in Celsius also. Set your temp, hold the power button for 3 seconds, and your ready to vape!

I filled the chamber full but unpacked with my recently harvested Durrty Dragon x Cheese bud. I set the Titan 2 to 376F and waited for it to warm up. It didn't take long, maybe 45 seconds, I didn't time it, because to me, that is not terribly important. Once up to temp, I took a long slow pull. Wow! a good hit of vapor on the first pull! none of my other vaporizers do this, they all give very light first hits unless you wait 3-4 minutes! I got a visible vapor cloud first thing!
The draw was easy, easier than any of my other vaporizers. I really like my Iolite, but this unit may well replace it. Second hit was thick and tasty! Didn't take long to get a real good buzz! Taste of the vape was very good also.

Now, I see these self proclaimed "critics" reviewing vaporizers on the web and youtube, and most of them end up showing their ignorance, in an attempt to appear worldly.... What am I getting at? their criticizing of the use of
"plastics" in vaporizers. Not one of them has done their homework on this. The materials used are closer to space age ceramics than any true plastics. these are NOT made from the same stuff as you kids sippy cups ( and you let them use them... ). They don't outgass anything, they don't even have any close resemblance to any plastic most people could name. In fact, these materials are used in medical devices also! Yes, glass vapor paths are a bit nicer, but for one reason only, they carry less heat. You see some of them whining about stainless steel also..... yet they have absolutely no science to substantiate their concerns.

My lady and I used it twice, and used it before bed, all on the first fill. Still had some battery power left after that, maybe 30-40%. I guess some people might find that inadequate, but, three decent sessions, from a small light weight vape is really nothing to complain about. At the price I paid, I could buy a spare and still be well under the $100 mark, think about that!

things I didn't like:
The mouth piece, being directly over the chamber, it gets hot especially with 2 people using it heavily. Using the extended mouth piece is a must. The Titan 2 has a safety shut off that in my opinion, kicks in too soon. Its not really a big deal, just disconcerting the first time it happens and you watch the temps go down instead of up. Easy to deal with though, when you see the temps drop when it should be reheating, just press the power button for 3 seconds again, that’s it! Lastly, yes, the battery could last just a bit longer. But, as I said, I could but 2 for less than any other vaporizer that actually vaporizes, nit burns your herbs! Are there better vaporizers out there? Yes there sure is, but your going to spend a whole lot more than the price of one of these.. I feel the Titan 2 is better than any vape you'll find for under $100.00, and better than some that cost a lot more! I recently used a Pax Ploom a friend has, and I think the Titan is much better, better draw, better vapor production.

All in all its hard to believe that a vaporizer at this price is this good. I got a drawer full of weed burner vapes. This is definitely not one of them! In fact, we may ebay the Vapor Blunt and the Iolite and pick up another titan! As a portable, I can't see a reason to buy another. Next will be a desktop vaporizer. Probably an Extreme Q.

So, if your looking for a first pocket vape, you really can't beat the Titan 2. Then if you feel the need to upgrade, you have something to fall back on if you don't like the next one, and if you decide you don't care to vape, your only out less than $40.00 verses $200 or more!

I ordered one of these from ebay myself just a couple of days ago. It will be my first vape, and being a die hard pipe smoker this will be used mostly as a device when I can't pull out my pipe.

Great detailed review my man. Been trying to read up on portable vaporizers recently "kudos"

I love water pipes, especially the old style brass ones from the 60-70's. I like joints too. My pipes are now collectibles on a shelf, and O smoke one joint from each plant I chop, that’s how much I like vaping!

I want to say also, I didn't buy it bewcause it was cheap, I bought it because I saw several other good reviews. Oh, and Grenco Science GPro is really just a Titan 1. Titan- $35, Grenco $99.00............

IMO it would be $40 or even less, well spent! Hell, I'd lose a DaVinci or something, I'd be afraid to leave the house with it. All the more reason to carry one of these...lol!

Can the Titan 2 be used while it is charging and is the battery replaceable?

Full and in depth review pop, very nice thank you :)

It looks to be a nice size and at a great price.

would be nice if they could sell a mouth piece that you could attach a micro showerhead water diffuser like the jet bomb micro bubbler.
That would surely make the vape cooler.

Seems to be a nice piece of kit for out and a bout for one person, of course as you mentioned you and wifey had a few goes on it and it still had some power.
Ideal in pub garden where you don't want to give to much welly but more of a nice toasty feeling with a pint.

I'm still in the market for one of these, the cheapest on ebay UK is £27.95 from China & £37.99 fro the UK both with free postage.

laughed at the critique of the internet reviewers, some of them have a degree in talking bollox.

I know you didn't buy it for the price but it is value for money and a great way for people try vaping for the first time with out breaking the bank.

Good to hear your enjoying it thanks again for a detailed and in-depth review,
