Old Reviews Vaporizer review: Titan 2 by Hebe

I use the shaped Vapir NO2 screen on top of the herb in both my NO2 and Titan2 ... makes a huge difference w/ the NO2 ... I've heard of folks doing something similar w/ the Pax by Ploom ...

Thanks Chester I will put in an order tomorrow :)
Out of interest what USB power source are you using and how long will it last when using your Titan II?

The screens last a long time so you probably don't need a lot ... I wash mine in 91% once a week w/ the rest of my Vape parts ...

The USB power bank I got was this one ... http://www.ebay.com/itm/151599772815?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

I haven't given it a real work out yet but in theory it should be equal to 4-6 of the Titan II's batteries ... I think it helps it to heat up and maintain it's temperature better ... very portable ... you can heat plugged in / Vape unplugged / then replug to recharge ... I'll bet the Titan II takes cartridges ... that would make it super easy to load ...

Heat up time seems faster when plugged in.
USB pack looks nice and your estimated time of use when using it sounds great.
Thanks for supplying the details :)

For a few dollars more the same seller has one that can be solar powered also ... nice to have even if just for the phone ...

I realize this is an older thread, but wanted to add some thoughts.
These are now less than $20.00 on ebay! That's a steal.
I am paranoid about flying on a plane with a used vaporizer. For this price, I can pack the unopened, plastic covered box in my luggage, and leave it behind when it is time to return home.
The first time I use it, after I fully charge it, I set the Titan2 to its highest temperature setting, and let it run for several minutes to burn off any factory production residue. I do this with any new vape.

The Titan II is so cheap its a disposable lol! Now no other vape even comes close to it under $40 as all the rest in that price range burn your weed. Not the biggest or strongest hits, but it gets the job done. And if you get 3-6 months from one, toss it and buy another! Keep one around for taking on trips/vacations, because if you need to ditch it, not big loss!

Now in the $100 price range, I'm finding the Focus Vape and Pro models to be outstanding. Very well made, a ceramic oven that holds a good load, replacable 18650 battery, and capable of huge clouds of vapor. I've best the hell out of mine using it with a bong and its still going strong 7 months later. I'd call it the best vape in the $100 - $125 price range, only the Boundless CF is its equal or better! And I like the "cigar" shape reasonably stealthy. And it stomps the XMAX V2 Pro.

For price 130€ (that much cost Focus vape here), I can get Airvape XS which is convection/conduction vape and has longer pathway and it's made from glass. Or add 25€ (155€) and get Arizer. Focusvape has short airpath like Titan 2. Not good if you want more quallity.

Now I have Titan 2 but that plastic airpath is not comparable with glass one! If you add convection style on top of that, you've got amazing product (Arivape XS)!

the titan2 is indeed a bargain £18 uk ebay.had it 6 months and used half a dozen times.
:pighug:

Best price I find is $179 U.S. and for that much, I'll spend another $20 and get me another DaVinci Ascent. I personally think that the Ascent is still the best vaporizer on the market and has an all glass air path. I got the water tool with my Focus Pro and it works well. And still spent $50 less. That's why I compare in price brackets, its not a fair comparison to those over $150. Don't get me wrong, the Airvape XS is a great vape and I'd love to try one! Trying hard though to keep my gadget habit under control....lol! I offer up the Focus vape because its an outstanding vape compared to anything below its price and has the advantage of swapping batteries.

And I don't buy into the conduction/convection bs at all either. Its marketing bs and that's all it is. heat is heat however applied, the only thing with conduction is if you bake the weed to long to will taste crappy, but the weed is spent long before that! I've run my focus with a load at 375F until the vapor vanished..... and it still didn't burn the weed. Cheaper vapes like the titan will burn it eventually as their temp controls are not all that accurate. Under 390 F, the Focus actually gets no more than warm, I'm thinking because of the glass tip.

I bring all this up simply because I'm trying to say, as a fairly inexpensive vape, it has a lot going for it, and sometimes our budget doesn't have another 50 or even 20 dollars to spend. Between $150 - $200 their are several great vapes, And Airvape is one of them! The vapes in this price range are Better than the more expensive vapes, I'd take an Airvape XS or a Boundless CFX over a Crafty or Firefly, etc. And Pax??? Personally.......uhggg... like sucking oatmeal through a swizel stick...
