New Grower Very first grow! Think Different by Dutch Passion.

DAY 30:

Plants are still growing; smells are amazing!

They are getting quite thirsty.. Im watering every 3rd day with about 2-3L of water each with minimal runoff! Last feed was today; did 3.5ml/L of Root Juice and 3ml/L of Iguana Juice Grow. They seem to be reacting very well to feedings; will be upping the grow to 3.5 next water. Has anyone gone above the suggested amount per L later on in veg?

For anyone that can help! When should I start the switch to Bloom nutes? Should I increment down the grow and increment up the bloom nutes at the same time? Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated!!

Sweet! Super healthy!

I would be of the opinion that you should start making the switch (nutes) with very light mix and start slowly working your way up on the concentration.
I'm sure with more experience will chime it.

Day 36!

Plants are still growing ;)! Had some issues with some deficiencies over the easter weekend; so I went out and got some B-52 on tuesday and did a feed. Plants are looking much better and seem to have exploded with some new growth over night. The lighter green dwarf got a bit darker in color and to my eye looks much healthier than it did before.. I should have started using B-52 way way earlier in the grow. I definitely think the dwarf will produce way less bud since there are so few bud sites. I'm still feeding veg nutes 4ml/L with no burn signs what so ever.(I think thats expected with organic nutes though?) and will be making the transition to bloom nutes within the next week. Today is the 1st day of week 5.

The plants are about 50cm each with the dwarf being around 44cm. Should I expect them to grow any taller after I start bloom?

The pictures are from way way earlier this morning; its about 11pm here right now. There has been some growth since then. Sorry about them being blurry :(

Good looking plants Polo!

I really don't know what to say to your question because o I'm still doing my first grow, but if i compare those to my TD´s, i have pretty much the same height as you..50-60cm and I'm on day 50 with td´s..they seem to put their growth in buds instead of height..

Im hoping someone with more experience will answer your question :)

Keep up the good work mate!

Thanks guys! I read that post by Muddy and that was one of my main reasons of holding off on the bloom nutes till now. From what I've been seeing TD can get to about 1m in height(I'm sure thats in the most ideal conditions with no deficiencies.) so that was my main concern with the switch. Wouldn't want to do it too early!

Another topic I wanted to get feed back on was Neem Oil. It's getting warmer here in the north and bugs are coming to life. Since I live on the first floor pests are a big worry for me. Do you guys have any opinions on when Neem oil should not be used? Any other alternatives that won't compromise the taste of the buds? I read somewhere habanero oil works as well with little to no effects on the buds?

Thanks!

Decided to take out my fav of the 4 for a picture ;) She hasn't grown in height since yesterday still at 50cm but she did get a bit wider 50 cm as well. I think its time to start bloom nutes :D

Ya know I have read that ruderalis strains are naturally pest resistant but I'm not too sure about it when you start crossing it with other strains. I have also seen the TD strain attacked by pests in some diaries.

I'm currently on my 8th grow of indoor autos in soil and i've never had pests or mold.

I use a silicon beneficial which helps the plant fight off infection and crawlys, there are loads of kinds, this is the UK brand that i use :

Plants are looking GREAT! Especially for day 30, loads of bud sites polo :)

Nice one pal,
