Still weighing my options on lighting.

I'm using a 2x4 tent, and am planning in using 2 200w actual panels.

I've got my eye on the vipar450. I like the wattage, reflector style spread and only I've a question about spectrum.

To me, an idiot, the specs they have seem to be lower in the reds than most others that are comparable. Is his in fact true, or am I dumb.

And the other question is, should I be correct and there is in fact less red than optimal, would using CFL to make up for that be acceptable??

The cost savings of 2 vipar panels over anything else leaves me $100 under budget. that $100 could net me another 240 watts of CFL and help light coverage as well as fix the possible red issue.

Give me the entire spec numbers.

That light would be good for the veg stage but it's way low on red specs that is needed for flowering stage. You would be better off getting a light that has a more balanced spectrum with higher red numbers. You might want to check Mars Hydro out.

Mars reflector96 is also up for consideration.
Was my first choice actually.

But considering I can add 240watts of just 2700k to the 2 vipar450's and come in at just $20 more than 2 mars reflectors, its got me thinking about better coverage and more watts.
