New Grower Virgin growner fist attempt

Hello AFN!

The Green House Seed co. confirm my order tonight, and I think this is the time when I start to log my first attempt to grown my own bud. I ordered 3 autofem Green-O-Matics seed, and the ladys are comeing!
I almost finish my box. I transform a cupboard. Its 40X45X80cm.
Still going to purchase supplies, but I think I known what I want and where can I get it. I want to use 6X23W 6500K CFL bulb for the veg. and 6X25W 2700K for the flo.

I want to use mylar inside the box, and make my own reflector. (with mylar too)
I think I try to grown in 2X5.5L and 1X3L pot and if my grown is successful i can see the difference between the smaller and the bigger pot.
As advice told me to try the coconut. I think I will use it.

Its a really low budget attempt. Unfortunately, I'm not too good financially, but I decide what I need for a succesfull grown I get it!!! I work a lot in the next weeks, but I will try to post densely. I welcome any advice, after all, I came here to learn!!! I glad to be here!
And sorry about my english, its not to good, but me and the google translator will try to do our best!

125W is probably only enough for one plant man, you're really hurting yourself running 3 plants under 125W of CFL. With a lot of LST you MIGHT be able to pull off two plants - but being a new grower, I'd start with just one plant or add more light for more plants.

Hey there Botlowsky. Good luck on your grow and let me know if you need anything. Depending on your size, space, and what you expect as far as growth and yield, you can grow under just a few lights. You should be fine though. I would still suggest only running 1-3 plants even if you had 500 watts since you're just getting started. Take care.

The 6 veg cfl gives me 7452 lumen, and the flo bulbs 8580 lumen. Its little for a 40X45cm area? I just asked couse I find a forum in my country what has a grown calculating. It says for a 40X45 area minimum need 60W 4500 lumen and the recommended is 100W 6500 lumen. Its not an AF forum, it works with "simple cannabis" strains. Is this info wrong? Because thats why I think this 138/150W (7400/8500L) will be enought.
And thats why I choose the GOM, if I know it well its a really small strain (30-40cm). If I run 3 plants 1 plant can get 2800L , if I run 2 plant 1 plant can get 4250 lumen. Its not enought? If its not whats your advice, how many bulb/W/lumen I need? I accept the advice, at first I only run 2 plants. I just think I want 3 couse if anything does go wrong with one of the plants, there were still two with I can continue my grown.

Depending on your size, space, and what you expect as far as growth and yield, you can grow under just a few lights. You should be fine though.

I thought I will have 15-20g dry bud /plant when I harvest.
I am too optimistic?

Under good conditions you can get well over that with just one plant. With a few smaller plants that is still definitely possible.

I was a little insecured.
I sad its a low budget attempt, and try to thinking witch way is the best for me.
I find some 125W CFL mixed spectrum bulb. I try to search in AFN for answer, is mixed spectrum good for AF plants, but as I see the users has very divided opinions. I think if the mixed spectrum is good I buy this bulb, and in the veg. and in the flo. I complement it with 2X25W sidelight. What do you think is this way workable?

auto plant like the same condtions as normal cannabis

on a cfl due to a low light conversion you want about 60w psft which is 30cmx30cm 40x40 will need just over 100w so a 125w mixed spectrum will be fine for 4 very small plants or 1 larger plant some autos have yielded 200g

Thanks Man! I really happy when I read your comment, but while a bit confused me too. I find another thread in AFN what sad the same as you.

I use the following as a rough guide:
HID lights around 50 - 75 w per sqf
CFL lights around 75 - 100+w per sqf

I'm using an online calculator. My box is 40X45cm = 0.18m2
0.18m2 = 1.9sqf about 2 sqf.
1 sqf need 75-100W cfl, 2 sqf 150-200 sqf.
If I buy this mixed spectrum bulb (125W, 2700K/6500K) (about 9000L) and complement it with 2X25W sidelight (about 2X1300L) I have it about 11500 lumen for the whole area what I resolved with 175W. I told is a low budget attempt, I'm saving money from 2-3 mounths, and I dont want to
squander it for a silly thing.

The other soils need nutries after a 3-4 weeks I think, but couse COCO is organics, it need nutries from the beggining to the end?

its hard to make out what you asking but ill do my best to answer you

your wattage is fine id say there bear bones min for lighting for tight nugs and effiency for flower is 40w psft for hps and 50w psft for cfl (around 25% more vs hps)

I say 1 or 4 plants as you cant grow 2-3 plants easy due to the shape they grow in a square room unless you train them.

maxi gom can grow as tall as 1.5 metres so only 1 plant is advised and easily the size of your grow room other large plants would include rqs nl , chronic ryder , most ak47 crosses in a 3g pot

but lr1 , blueryder (blue streak#1) , auto blue mystic or jems may fit 4 in 1-2g pots as there smaller plants in general. in your area 1 125w cfl is fine to start with or just buy the 150w version it wont matter for such a small space if you ventilation is up to scratch you could push 70-80 psft with cfl but everything will need to be on point to make use of this extra light
