Indoor Vlad's Multistrain Mud Massacre.

That's where a bit of smoke comes out sometimes when I CBA to clean out the burner. The whole thing was totally black when I exposed the chimberley breast, I left some on for effect tho, the rest of the bricks got cleaned.

It's an old fire. See above Santa, the wreath (made by m'boy) is hanging on the old cast iron pot hanger people used to boil water over the fire.. it got chopped off by the previous residents tho cos they wanted t&g everywhere and a stoopid gas fire.

We burn logs and coal broooo! [emoji1360]
Please don't let that happen. That bit of smoke from a dirty burner will be very rich in carbon monoxide.

It really doesn't take much to do some serious damage.

it is isn't it?

See the difference from mine above the door. .[emoji106]

Whaaa? You serious? I've always had smoky log fires and nobody ever mentioned that..

The chimney's still open around the flue, so it draws a bit of smoke out of the front sometimes. I've had a bit of fire board sat in my garage for six years... but guess what..

CBA to fit it! [emoji23][emoji23] That'd sort the smoke issue tho, eh?

I might fit it at the weekend.. maybe... [emoji848]

Solid fuels are much dirtier.

Those pretty yellow flames? Golden fucking ninja's.

A few minutes when you light are OK and the odd wisp.

But, if it regularly Chucks it in, get it sorted. Seriously.
