Hey all,
Okay, these are supposed to be Lowryder2 plants. The ones shown are the same age. All just over 4 weeks. The tall freakish one is 3 times at tall as all others. :jaw:It's got only fan leaves, and it looks stretched, but it's had the same light right on top of it as all the others. Look how airy it is; just fans and buds. It might be fun to see what it does, but it's taking light from the other 5 I have growing. And whereas the smoke of Lowryder 2 is very good, who knows what this will produce at the other's expense? I have to raise the light up to it's height, and I could have that light down by the others. It's some sort of giant. I think it's giving my other plants an inferiority complex.
Look at the grow tent pic. The one in the back that looks big; she's on a stool. Look behind her to see the freak way above the highest light....
So let's vote. Shall I chop it, and give the light to the true lowryder 2 plants, or shall I sacrifice their light, for the unknown freak? I say chop it now. You?

Is there anyway you can just bend her over to get her lower? Or do you have more lights that you can put closer to the shorter plants?

It's nice and healthy, so I wouldn't axe her, bro. :D

it looks like u got plenty of room in your tent so if i was you i would keep her around man, even if you lower the lights and that one doesnt get as much cause its off to the side when its all said and done at the end youll have more weed in your jars rather then if u chopped her and every gram counts imo :smokebuds:

Ya, super-healthy. All fans and buds, no real leaves (except fans). The other plants had some issues with my PH because I just didn't know what I was doing, but this lady was like, "whatever! Splash whatever you got on me! I can take it." And she can. She's like "SUPERWEED!" I hadn't thought about roping her down, but I could do that. She'd just say, "whatever...."

leave the freak she may turn out to be the best producer as the other guys have said bend her or alter ya lights in some way to compensate

Hey buddy :dance2:

I think everyone else has the right idea here. It certainly doesn't look like your struggling for space, I'm definitely picking up what you're putting down though. Don't jump the gun and chop her down yet, if I were you I'd get the string & scissors out and give her some heinous LSTing. Quite literally reduce as much height as you possibly can, really push her. I'm seeing this one of two ways:

1 - Apply heinous LST, get her back to a convenient height and share some light amongst the other plants. 3 weeks down the track, she's absolutely loving it and you've both solved your problem and come out of it with (hopefully) a lot more bud than you would have. Lurvely.

2 - Apply heinous LST, get her back to a convenient height and share some light amongst the other plants. 3 weeks down the track, she's dead. You gave it a crack and the outcome was exactly the same as if you didn't, with no risk involved.

If you want to chop her, roping her into place is a win-win situation. Don't take no crap though brother, obviously don't go right out and break her in two, but you've got nothing to lose.

edit: holy crap though, that thing is crazed

I would just raise all the other pots to the same canopy hieght win win all round mate i know its a ball ache but it will pay of and even if you only got a few grams all weed is good weed
