Outdoor Waira's '18 Mixed Bag of Tricks Combo Grow

it was the lateness, the root squeeze halting stretch, both,... and all are eating fans faster than they should, despite pretty stouts feeds,...... not sure what to make of MegaCrop here,

Seeing eye to eye on this one man!!!!! My internal eating of the fans has slowed....5 grams per gallon MC, full strength Mother Monarch Bloom(2 TSP per 5 gallons), along with 2 grams per gallon of Green Leaf cal/mag is what it took to mostly stop it from progressing. If you look at my 11 roses you will see the same progression as you are having. The pic showing it best is actually a pic of the blue widow where the 11 roses is on the right of the frame.

I have also noted a generalized low-N-type yellowing of fan leaves once buds start to build using MegaCrop at both 4 and 5 g/gallon.

Presuming this is not normal with MC (?), what should be done when this happens? If the plants have say a month or even more till harvest, should one:
a) Just ignore it, consider yellowing, loss of N, a normal part of bloom?
b) Boost normal feeding with N (give more MC or add part A of Adv. Nutr.?); and also some P, K, Ca and Mg too?
c) Do foliar feeding (with Transport) using N (from 2 part Adv. Nutr.?) and P, K, Ca and Mg too? With lots of air movement and low humidity, I can do foliar feeding safely far into bloom.

:crying: @Dudeski , you need your eyes checked! These girls are fugly as I've had,... they will finish thread bare and haggard I believe, and some better get real busy soon!-- tic toc, tic toc,....:nono:

.... indeed,...along with yellowing, I'm getting a lot of purple/red burnishing on edges, surfaces, like the way cold induced P defc. shows.... ... I fed higher dosage, and last round went with Dyna-Gro Grow+ PK booster just for shits and giggles,.....

>> BII-- from what I'm seeing here with several growers using MC, most all have started using some sort of PK booster during bloom,.. first runs with straight MC made bud more leafy than usual for that strain, a high N/lower P related issue apparently,... at apprx. 10-6-14, that's not a good ratio for bloom! Reducing MC and adding boosters seemed to fix this in next rounds-.... past a certain point in bloom, it's not "fixable", but not doing anything can certainly make it worse,.... Transport foliars can help, but I find that it can fry the pistils, and then there's the surface residue thing as well,....

I can say without a doubt that temps aren't an issue over here...its been hot as hell!! In between storms every day this week it's been 30C+. Been a hot summer all around.

You and I are having the exact same issues form leaf appearance on the 11 roses and the critical +. Get pounding them with P my friend!!

My partial sun plants got the PK earlier and they look perfect. They are also smaller, so 6 gallons of feed once a week is keeping them perfect

-5 grams per gallon MC base
-2 grams per gallon greenleaf calmag
- 2 tsp per 5 gallons Mother monarch bloom (i think its 1.25 gram per gallon)

>>> @StickMan --- Maines Own Blueberry/OGK x C99a..... turned out very very good as well- :d5: Thank you again my friend, fine work as always!
...Very dense scissor-fouling gummy texture, well sugared, and her aroma is all MoB, green pheno', in fact Stickmate :eyebrows:... classic MoB berry and some head shop complexity,... OGK and C99 are not in the house at all, strangely, at least for aroma... You weren't kidding about MoB's aromatic dominance in crosses- :greencheck: - but the super density I think is coming from the OGK?... we'll see what several more weeks of cure brings, but if we know MoB, there will be little change... MoB has some of the most well holding, durable aromatics I've encountered.... .... *edit*-- @StickMan , I take it back!.... I pulled a really nice ripe top bud out now that it's more smoke-ready, and chop-up released some definite OG stank lurking in there-... potency is gob-smacking strong, no joke :dizzy:... Sun baking brought the hammer out in this girl!

Glad you like, was hoping you would. Just sad about the yield!
The MoB/OG without the C99 is very potent on its own. Know where you can get some fems if you want to give a go next year.

My one MoB/OG x C99a is without a doubt, the most 'unique' plant I have grown to date.
If you remember correctly, she started flowering almost from the get go when I planted her out 3rd week of May.
Thought she was going to reveg on me, but has just continued to flower, and flower.
Looking like she won't be cooked to my liking until close to end of month.
She is going to yield a very nice amount for her size. Small bush in 7 gallon container with lots of very decent sized colas.
Oh, I wish you could smell her! Equal parts berry and pineapple with nice OG undertones. Certainly one of the nicer smelling plants this year by far.
Also much more Sativa like leaves than the many MoB x c99a i have grown the last few years. Colas and flowers are all Indica in appearance. Will make sure and take pics and post here before i chop.

Peace

Sounds awesome!!

..pushing to mild tip burn mate, but it's not really helping,.. the lingering, crappy-foggy coastal weather there is having a negative impact now too,.... I do NOT like how the buds are forming up! :cuss: It'll be a real butt clencher to finish I predict,...quality may not be on par for me .... We BOTH need a nice fucking Fall for a change!:goodluck::karmacloud:

@StickMan  ... you know, when I checked the root mass after harvest, I found she didn't fill that pot out at all,... it was about 4gal actual,... so whatever hit the brakes on stretch did the same below as well,.... she made an oz+ of no-popcorn HD nuggetry, so I'm not gonna bitch one bit! Her sister (adopted out to a h'-shop mate) pretty much mirrored her in their cycle, had better branching,....waiting on some buds to swap for comparison!
....kinda weird huh, how they seemed to auto' for us, but the blooming speed was normal,......your girl sounds more like C99 in character :eyebrows:, aroma especially! I haven't grown out any of the C99a's before, what was their aroma like?... was the C99a the male here? :woohoo1:-yes! -to pics, you're holding out on us-:nono:

Damn that sucks to hear man!! Hopefully the 11 rose will come through in the end. Despite my feeding challenges, my 11 roses is forming reallllllly nice looking buds now. Rock hard crystal caked nugs so far, and still many weeks until finish. Crossing fingers for a decent october bud!
