 pardon the delay,.... soil hotness has to do with how much and what type of amendments are added, various meals usually,.. these will be slower released N-P-K sources,... mineral amendments don't factor in so much with this, but are just as important,... basically, you have to read the ingred. of the soil, and get familiar with them and what they do, and ask the shop folks,... HF is a popular seed to harvest soil,... OF is best cut with seedling mix, which has little to no nutrient amending to it.... hold true of any rich soil,... if you plant in overly hot soil, you can flush it to remove the excess nutrients in it, but that may be only temporary, as stuff continues to break down,... easier by far to avoid than fix! ... yes to both, on the EWC/inoculants, but they can be added at any time,... synthetic fert's tend to harm them, and other factors can adversely affect their populations, so it never hurts to add them in on occasion... they are critical for organic nute's! They break down the organic stuff into available, absorbable forms, a process that takes days,...one reason why full organic nute's are more tricky,... but the results, when done right, are worth the learning curve! Check out the organic section here sometime, and ask around about the bud quality it gives!

Greetings. My 17 day old blueberry has begun showing signs of lighter coloration. This is happens 24 hours I gave it its first feeding. Here is an excerpt from that post, "Day 16. I gave the two a small feeding today of Alaska Fish Fertilizer with a side of cal/mg. 1 1/2 tsp of AFF along with 1/4 tsp of cal/mg to 3 liters of water. The AFF calls for 1 tsp per quart and the cal/mg calls for the light feeding at 1tsp per gallon. I'm hoping I was conservative enough with my nute measurements. I'll wait to see what the two tell me!". Thanks for your time.
You've asked the right peeps, me, I'm outdoor/greenhouse compost, I'm here to learn too
