Grow Mediums Water base ppm?

I have a KoolerMax HK-120. Maybe I have something wrong, it came pre-assembled so I never looked super close. Maybe I just need to get some new cartridges?

I have been doing a bit of looking into it and I think part of my problem is that I am not getting good filter action because my pressure is too low. They recommend that if you are below 40 psi you should install a booster pump. I was right on the edge to just under so figured no big deal. Turns out that low ware pressure effects more then just quantity with RO, it also effect quality. Who Knew?

I was just going to ask you what you incoming pressure was. I'd bet that's your problem right there. I was concerned when I installed mine. The line runs 600' up hill to the house, then to the garage, then to my shed, well over 1,000' with a 40' rise. I hold pretty steady at about 43 psi and it's working fine. Can you back flush your membrane?

Not sure on being able to flush the membrane, the system is totally new to me so I'm trying to figure it out as I go.

With my Hydrologic I had to buy it separately, about $20 on eBay. In this pic you can see it hanging down in front of the filters. I flush it weekly for about 5-10 minutes. It will about double the life of the RO membrane.

Ok, so apparently I'm an idiot when it comes to RO water. I need to do a water change so figured some filtering better than none and just started filling water out of the RO system. Decided to do a quick re-check of PPM before adding nutrients, low and behold 12 PPM. Assuming I didn't do a good enough flush when I installed it.

Glad you got it figured out. Yes, they have to be flushed a bit when new.

Now just figure out how much cal mag per gallon you need to add to bring your total up to around 125.

Hey guys. I have asked this in tapatalk chat, live stoners and now im here lol.

I was looking at RO systems, then i started looking for purified water locally and found 25L for $30 with EC 5 uS/cm, is this a decent deal? 5 microsiemens is about 3ppm if im not mistaking.
