Hey guys,

I have 4 plants in 6.5 liter pots. They are 4 weeks in and are now flowering.

I am currently splitting a liter (250ml) between the 4. Can I start giving the plants 2 liters (500ml per plant)?

I am feeding them every 3 days.

Thanks.

How much runoff do you get now? I try to water until I get 20% runoff, but at least until there is some runoff. I water slowly. I do a third, let it soak for 20-30 minutes, another third, wait 20-30 minutes. Then the final third which produces runoff.

If I water too much too soon, it seems to pass through the medium and runs off. If I go slow, the medium seems to absorb more. But, I use primarily peat moss which may be different than soil. It feels harder to re-wet than soil.

Rather than going by a schedule, only water your plants when they actually need it. Weed like to go through wet/dry cycles. Get a feel for your pots when they are almost completely dry and only water again when they feel like that. With young plants that might only be once a week or so. As the plants get bigger and uptake more water, you may then need to water every 3-4 days. Do as AZ2000 suggested, give enough so that 10-20% runs out the bottom of the pots. That will help to leach out the salts that are created as a bi product of nutrient utilization. Weed needs oxygen at the roots and keeping the soil constantly wet will cut off that needed oxygen.

Weigh ur pots dry and then water them when they weigh dry weight again.digital scale is pretty cheap and i have never had overwatering problems ever.shit caps was on
