So I recently got caught growing in my garage, which killed me since the plants were doing great! Just to be torn out of their pots. The one good thing that came out of this was after my lovely mother squealed too my dad he asked me later on why I didn't just hide these kinds of things at his house. So I decided that I am going to do just that, & transform the closet in my room there. The only issue is that I am only up there every other weekend, so I would need to find a way to keep them watered. I don't want to have to ask my dad to water them because I don't want to involve him in any sort of illegal activity like that. I have read about using plastic bottles and such, does this really work? Any other suggestions?

Check out Amazon. They have a digital timed automated drip system. Designed just for that purpose. Has a six gallon capacity.

Hate to play devils advocate but If your still under your parents roof, unless you have their explicited permission (at which point I wouldnt worry about asking your dad to take care of them) as if anything happens in his house ultimately he's going to be liable anyways....if you don't mind me asking you, your age?

Anyway to can you move your grow outdoors somewhere close by where you can check on them more often? Be happy mom caught you and squeeled and not someone else or something else occurring that would have involve LEO. Much rather deal with parental problems than legal. If ya decide to go ahead any ways and grow, all I can say is I wish you the best of luck! Obviously the desire is there as your all raeady looking for an alterative space. When the desire is strong and you love the plans they will in return and love you and give you some great home grown! :karma cloud: your way

Would DIY/DYI watering (whichever it's called) with a be an effective option? & which automatic drip water system would anyone recommend?

my local hydro shop is always trying to sell me these http://www.autopot.co.uk/ unfortunately I do not have room for a reservoir, but I assume you do since one will be required regardless of your ultimate solution.
