New Grower Weak becomes Strong Pyramid Seeds Auto Purple

I duno if were still trying to figure out this problem folks but if it helps the leaves seem to have became very brittle theyre still alive just seem more brittle than they should be

I feel the end is near, but no purple?

hey folks hope we're okay. cant believe its October but I'll be back to work after my injury in three weeks, going to see Howard Marks aka Mr Nice speak about his life as a dope smuggler, if anybody some how doesn't know who he is id recommend his book. and last but not least I reckon Margeret will be coming down towards the end of the month. Shes really pulled through so im hoping between 7-14g dry which aint bad considering before her growth spurt I thought she was a dud

so she hasn't turned purple and Ive got a reasonable idea why...Ive been reading up that most plants can become purple-ish but only true purple genetics can get PURPLE!! and that this is caused by a secondary form of light absorbing cells which only become active when the plant is exposed to colder temps?? is that about right?
so anyway if I was to take the plant out and sit it near a cool window, instead of her warm cab, its probably about 15oC and id do it whilst it would be lights off. do you think this short exposure maybe 8hours then back to normal 16hour lights and temps could bring a bit of colour? or will into be detrimental to the last few weeks growth? im going to continue feeding another 2-3week then a week of plain water?

haha I actually saw somebody suggesting to feed the plants food colourings


Anyway any input would be great and also do u reckon about 3-4week till chop?

so 2nd night of exposure to cooler temps sitting at 20oC for 8hours a night? im intrested to see if this works but don't know what temp I need to hit

I thought it had to be cold cold like 50's upper 40's

see im not sure shes ment to be purple so id expect her to change at a slightly higher temp than other non purp strains cz 50oF is 10oC over here n that's getting chilly don't have temps that cold indoors n im Scottish its always cold here

Emergency Harvest

hey folks so had to harvest little Margeret a bit earlier than id hoped due to a housing inspection in 4 days so wanted time to get stuff tidied away and buds dried, but she is mostly cloudy maybe few amber trichomes. I think my purple idea might have worked better if id had more time as theres a few small dark purple patches and the intire stem that didn't have buds sheltering it has gone purple. im not too bothered now though after seeing the bud properly theres only 20g wet so what out 5g dry but its soo frosty I wish I had a better camera to show it and the bud I took off 3days ago has tightened right up in its brown bag n is nearly ready to start curing ready for the smoke report.

its been a rollercoaster ride from the beginning when she was ready for the bin and then more than tripled in height in a few days to the mystery illness she fought through so yeah I didn't get ounces of pot but I still got enough to chill out and enjoy some beautiful organic Auto Purple with my friends knowing I grew that:booya: and I couldn't have done it without this site and its wonderful members.

I will be growing again but I need to get back to work so I can bring my grow up to code so for now :Thank You: and look out for the smoke report.:
