Roll up, Roll up, and welcome to what will surely be,
the adventure of a lifetime.

I have recently been asked by a friend to test some seeds he has spent a long time perfecting and I have decided to share this trip with you all.

For now at least, I have decided to keep the breeders name a secret and from here on in give them the title of 'The Company'.
I do however, leave the floor open for The Company to come forward and introduce themselves and their list of genetics I'm using, but for now I shall leave that for the breeder and admins to decide to do if they wish to.

I shall be doing a consecutive run of around 5/6 grows, starting from a cheap as they come 'Ghetto Soil Grow' all the way through to a finely tuned LED DWC grow, ha yeah right, but that's what this is going to be. A learning curve using a variety of different methods and inviting you to come along for the ride.

During all this I shall also be running a small breeding session, fingers crossed I get a few boys, God, never thought I'd say that....
I will be making hash and oils from my trim as well as trying my hand at making some creams to soothe aches and pains from other leftovers.

It's all happening here folks, as I say, the adventure of a lifetime.

I shall also have an outdoor grow going throughout everything else however I will be posting that in the appropriate forum page.
Feel free to come and have a looksie once it's all set up.

I'm gonna cut this essay in half and carry on in a second post.....

And so, on to the first batch of tester seeds.

To start with I shall be running

1x Lemon Sherbert
1x Treacle
1x Dry Slap

Genetics to be confirmed....

These will be grown in a homemade box built by sawing a 7 foot tall shelving unit in half and then sandwiching together to create a nice wardrobe esq grow room.

Dimensions are 3.5' x 2.5' x 2.5' ish

Because of space issues until I finish building my second room I shall be growing in 10L (just over 2G) pots
The room will be lined with a one of those reflective emergency blankets
1x 7" fan to circulate air with the room
3x Household 30w CFL bulbs 6500K for vegging and a further
2x (possibly 3) Household 30w CFL bulbs 2700K to add for flowering

Nutrients will be from the BioBizz range, if anyone has tips on what to buy please do let me know, liquid nutrients shall be new to me
Bog standard Multipurpose Compost
Perlite

Added extras will include
Wood ash
Vinegar
Baking soda
PH tester
And not forgetting....
AFN, I'll sink fast without you lol.

The seeds have be soaking on a damp folded kitchen towel for the past 12 hours now. I will leave them until tomorrow before I have a sneaky peek at them.
The most important lesson I have learnt from previous grows is patience. Patience, patience and more patience.

Updates shall follow as and when there is something to update.

But anyways, thanks for stopping by folks, it's a pleasure to have you aboard.

Lets get this show on the road.
See you on the other side.

Making new strains is encouraged here as long as the sources are typically given credit too. Your friend should drop in and say hello. :smoke: Best of luck in your grow.

Cheers Scott,

Yeah, I'm hoping they'll stop by but they've been offline for a few days.

I'm actually hoping to breed from these and I have asked their permission to do so, so once they have made themselves known I'll be able to pass all credit on to them.

Long way down the road yet tho lol.

Thanks for stopping by dude. Gotta lot of stuff to come.

May as well do a quick little update while I'm here.

Dry Slap and Treacle had their tap roots showing when I checked on them this morning so they went straight into their starter homes.
They will stay in these smaller pots for a few days after breaking through the soil and then they'll be off to their 10L pots for the rest of the cycle.

Lemon Sherbert seed has cracked open as well but I will be leaving that until the morning now, give the tap root a little longer to grow.

My other grow has started to show signs of life, I'll post the link here
https://www.autoflower.org/f44/seeds-life-hindiana-nordika-19991.html

And so far 3 out of the 6 early flowering Caramel cross photo seeds I have germinated overnight so I shall be starting a seperate journal for those in the coming days once they are planted and set up. These will be grown outdoors.

Plenty more to come as and when it happens.

Peace

I decided to show my face(kind of) and see how things go.

Just to be clear these strains are still under testing and more work may be done on them.
