So I have a plant that was pollinated somehow, and basically neglected afterwards (i think it threw a nanner unnoticed). The plan is to just harvest it for hash, as the seeds are very immature, and the plant is ready to come done. When I went to give it the axe tonight, I noticed it has green aphids on it. They are from top to bottom, but actually kinda sparse. I didn't see more than 10 under any 1 leaf.

My question is what can I do at this point to get rid of them. I can always let it go longer, to rid the pest, but she is ready to come down now. I've read about being able to make bho with buds that have mold, would the same thing be true here? I'm not wild about the thought, but if science says "go for it" then I would consider it. Ughh that make me think of some of the crap I have most likely smoked from street weed. Any suggestions would be helpful guys. Till next time. Take care.:smoking:

Edit: By the way this is an organic soil grow.

Personally, Fuggzy, I wouldn't do anything but a normal chop. Most of the aphids will go when you trim the fans. In fact, aphids are edible, and if you're feeling brave you can even sample a few (they can range between sweet to bitter, depending on what they've been sucking on :biggrin:)
Zero issue, Brother.
I have made tinc for topicals from moldy bud, but for Pete's sake never smoke mold. Bad Ju-Ju, and the wrong kind of mold can lead to bad respiratory problems.
Happy Chopping! :peace::smokeit:

I see you're welcoming folks in Intros, Brother, so you're already returning the favor in spades:cheers:
Have a :slap: for that!
As far as levels, there ain't one:biggrin: We all find our niche, and when that question we know the answer to comes by, let 'er rip!:shooty:

:crying: Only a true chicken-head would suggest eating them! :chef: :biggrin: ... but Red is right, most will go outright with the trimming,..and unless they're absolutely buried and overgrown into the bud, any others will bail as the bud dries, for lack of juices! I've found them wandering around the dry rack in search of fresh food, several times now,... comes with the territory for outdoor growers! :doh: :goodluck:

So my aphids must be on that new weight watchers program. I can't taste anything. Not to mention they are a bit tought to get. I had to grab the jewelers tweezers. Felt like Mr Miyagi for a minute there.

I worked as a professional cook for 11 years, and jump at the opportunity to try some foreign. Thanks again guys! :smoking:
