Grow Mediums west coast og

I am going to start a proper journal for these soon but I had a question. I popped 3 of these for a dwc grow. One died after a few days. No biggie. My concern is the other 2. It is day 8 and both shows signs of CalMag issues already. 5 gallon DWC 3.5 gallons of water. Voodoo juice and 10ml of Calmag is all that is in the rez. I am using leds. I know leds suck the cal right out. I am also using rodi. I might switch to tap for next bucket dump.

Have any of you guys who have run this strain came across this issue so early on in life? I would expect this in late veg early flower but day 8? Both have 2 sets of true leaves already. Vigorous growth so far. No need to post pics really as it is cal deficiency.

So this post was from yesterday. The system would not let me post until today. I dont think this strain can handle leds very well. The entire plant at day 9 is encrusted with cal mag issues. I have NEVER seen anything like this so early. WOW. I dont know what to say at this point.

The Calmag issues are still spreading. Day 10. Doesnt look good. I have done nothing different than any other seedling I have grown in DWC. Bummer really. Oh well. Time to move to the next company/strain I do have some MEGA Think Diffrents I have been keeping a lid on

I should mention these where the testers that where sent out not long ago for people to report back on. Does not look like this strain lends itself to hydro or leds.

Well I have one that looks to be in good shape. It will likely make it to the end game. The other is super stunted and is half the size of the other one. All of the leaves are covered in rust spots and look like arse. I have never seen something like this from a seedling. Pics to follow.

The Jesus try to increase your nutes across the board plus cal mag "within reason".. treat them like a photo DWC , and see if you dont see a change..

I have one left and her lowers are calmagged to death basically. Uppers are looking decent but still showing signs. Running 15ml of calmag in 3.75 gallons. Ph 5.9 Pics to follow. I chucked the one plant. I am guessing these might not like leds or dwc or both. But I have never seen a strain go calmag like this so early.

Still massive cal mag issues. No idea why. This morning I changed out the rez and she is sitting in 3 gallons of fresh with only 10ml of calmag. Ph at 6.5 for the sweet spot for cal.

Now it is sitting at 6.5 to see if I can get some cal uptake. Prior to todays bucket change it was at 5.8 using an ph perfect. I have used it for years and have never seen anything like this. My last grow had a strange cal mag issue mid bloom so something is off. Room temp 72 rez temp 68 Gentle breeze via fan. Mars hydro 900 reflector 1.5 feet off canopy. Before this change I was running 10ml of the A and B in 3 gallons of water with 10ml of Cal/Mag and 5ml hydro guard.

What is so odd is that it showed up so early in the plants life. Almost right after the cotlyedons dropped.

I am tempted to hit the stoma with a foliar spray but this cal/mag has a 2-0-0 rating and I dont want to fry them
