Have heard lots of things in the distant past about curing, and not sure what is best.

Have Boveda packs, and dry 1 day for each 10 percent of humidity (70% humidity would get 7 days).

Is being sealed in ziploc for a couple of weeks good? I had early leafy harvest, and left sealed for a week, and it is awesome, even being very leafy.

Have heard of burying, or exposing to dry ice, but that was in the 70's.

Thanks!!!

be careful of mold when sealing it up that long , if its not dry enough it will mold very easilly , open the bag and fluff it up once a day

peace

Did that with most. Opened buckets each day, and turned over a couple of times, and left open for half hour.

My first grow, last year was outside, and moved in, photo, from crap seeds. Turned out very nice, and screwed by mold in curing.

Now would rather over dry a bit, and throw Boveda packs in, to get 63% humidity.

Dont forget most people do 1 day for ever 10% then add an extra day to ensure its bang on so 70% would be 7days +1 extra day 8days total:2cents:

Canning jars are better than ziploc bags and it's really important that you open the bag/jar every couple of days to let the moisture out.

To dry my buds i hang upside down on apice of string/rope and keep the room at around 60-70 percent humidty. It's importation to keep air flow circulating so use an oscilating fan, on the low setting. After 7-10 days when the buds feel dry to the touch move them to the canning jars.

get yourself a hydrometer $20.00, after they're in the jar burp them slowly untill you reach 53% (about two weeks!) then close them up for good..you can get a vacume sealer with a jar sealer and vacume seal the jars..after a few months when you open a jar the buds will be firm but still springy and still have that nice fresh smell ..there should be no 'green/amonia type smell after the cure, actually the 'green' smell should be mostly gone at the 53% mark

this is a good one ..ebay
