Vancouver Seed Bank sells something called Suomi Hemp. They don't mention it in the description, but it is autoflower. It is advertised as being low in THC but high in CBD. I'm growing a few now. It's a hemp variety from Finland (I think it's really called FIN-314), so it has to be low in THC to be legal, but one of my four females is covered with frosty sweet smelling resin like you would expect of a potent plant. I haven't tried it out yet. It's a funny looking little plant, and from what I've read elsewhere is a challenge to grow. It would make an interesting cross w/ something else, too. FWIW.

Hmm interesting. 'Soumi' actually means Finland in finish. I'm neighbors with them ;) How come that strain ended up over in BC while we haven't heard of it in Scandinavia? If its covered in frosty resin its probably not the legal edition :) guess they've bred in some indigenous variety of industrial hemp.

I have no clue how it came to be in Canada. Industial hemp growing is legal in Canada, so perhaps some farmers looked for a strain from northern Europe to match Canada's climate. I figured some enterprising person decided to sell what are really industrial hemp seeds at a large markup to weed smokers. Of my four plants only one is frosty, so that might just be a fluke - the kind that drives farmers crazy trying to stay legal. I pollinated it to get more seeds, though.

would love to see some pics , sounds very interesting

Here's a few pics of a Suomi Hemp plant. It's been pollenated from another Suomi Hemp. The seeds aren't ripe yet. I read that it was developed commercially for seed, not fiber, so it wont get very tall. The other ones I have growing, though, are thinner and taller, with more side branches - but less fragrant, with no visible resin. I hope the traits of this plant contiue to the next generation. When it's done growing I'll take it to be tested for THC and CBD.

I think as long as their is a high amount of cbd in a strain you can also deal with higher amounts of thc cause the cbd removes the occasional nerveusness, paranoia panic or racing heart and thoughts..
So as long aa its high cbd,i would reccon 1,5 % or more and even better wirh the perfect match of % thc cbd cbn thcv and so on. I know white rhino got so famous for having a unique ratio that was perfect for pain that ir came scientists from japan to test it for cannabinoides and more too try solve the riddle. I got totally numb un my whole face wheb smoking a proper grown white rhino..
Also more medical suggestions that i doubt will give u panic is: granddaddy purple/grape ape auto. If its autos youre after:)
